The zoo, called "Taman Satwa Tabanan Wildlife Park" or Tasta for short, is built on an area of 20 hectares in the village of Angseri, Baturiti district. Angseri Village is the owner of this park.
There are 20 species of birds, 4 elephants, 2 bears, 3 orangutans, 4 gibbons, 2 binturongs, 7 porcupines, 1 Komodo dragon and 4 crocodiles in this wildlife park.
The creators of the zoo claim that the main idea of the zoo was the protection of wild animals and their conservation. It is assumed that the park will become a training ground for local residents to gain knowledge about the conservation of flora and fauna
