I was thinking that. The protagonist is super chill considering what he's dealing with, so at the point of time the trailer shows, it really has just become routine for him. Makes me wonder if it has an "infection gets worse each night" mechanic, and you have to end the week with as few infected animals as possible. Also super interesting that the guy is desensitised to the point where he is literally feeding them people like he's chucking them a cookie...

This game is a breath of fresh air. With all of these mascot horror games taking over the genre, its really good to see zoochosis not one of them. It looks amazing!

Ok so far we got Moose,Hippos,Giraffes,Penguins,Kangaroos,Zebras and Gorillas as animals in Zoochosis can only imagine the horrors the rest we haven’t seen yet especially the actual carnivorous animals

I’m confident infected carnivores will be in the game, I’ve never heard of a zoo with just herbivores. But I suspect that infected carnivores are either late-game content or serve as ‘bosses’.

I'm so hyped for this, especially the little details. The temperature check obviously is for infection, but on the task list it says the gather the gorilla poop and analyze it. Plus the UV light he used on the kangaroos since some fungal infections show up under UV light! Plus the music makes it feel so deliciously corny or campy I love it.

The game looks tempting with various endings but real good to watch. I’ve seen that elephants 🐘 and hippos 🦛 are going to be in it too. Those 2 are already dangerous animals and I’m curious to see how much deadlier they’ll be with that mutation. The kangaroos 🦘looked a little short and round, I thought they were wallabies. Also I thought about giving you lot trivia about the word: Zoochosis. A strange word, yes. But if you’re curious enough to google it, you’ll actually learn that Zoochosis is a real thing. It’s a mental health issue that’s found in captive animals. Symptoms include head bopping and body rocking. It simply happens when the animals roam around in their pens, seeing the same thing…over, & over again…for months. Kinda shows the dark side of zoos.

I'm looking forward to learning the lore about the parasites or whatever those things are that are causing the accelerated animal mutations, as well as why a zookeeper would be supposedly using human flesh to feed the zoo animals. I wonder if that body was the previous zookeeper and that's what happens to those they fire or if they need to tie up loose ends when employees ask too many questions.

For me, i think that a certain parasite just infected the poor animals at the zoo and is like the smile tapes when a fungus infects people causing them to be forced to smile but this game, we have to cure these deseased animals whom have mutated or have been infected while being a zookeeper ourselves.

As much as I LOVE how cute they made the animals look at first, I don't think my anxiety can handle this game. I want to play it, but I can't becuase 1 my worst phobia is in this game. And 2 if I see any zoo animal related to cats get horribly killed or mutated, my heart will be destroyed and I will cry..😓

Speaking of this game, was there a zombie in that body bag? If so I could only theorize how these animals got infected. Cause also there is no other way they could make food for animals out of human meat and get away with it. Cause then the zoo would be shut down. Logically in these types of horror games where there is a zombie or mutant like virus, that would make sense. I feel like thats also gonna be tied into the story somehow. Probably..🤨
