Hey, if you’re gonna do a rug pull, might as well really, really ridiculously commit to it. I had the rare benefit of seeing this for the first time in the theater and I’ll admit, I didn’t see the payoff coming. Sure, I was skeptical about the spot-on Stephen Hawking voice, but the animations were so high quality that it wasn’t until around 00:54 that I suspected it was going for a joke. A great reintroduction to an old character, and mocking the obnoxious practice of placing numbers nonsensically into movie titles certainly didn't hurt.
