Zoom on my ipad is updated. But, i still cant find the pencil icon if i share screen. Anotate is just on white board shared. What else i need to do?

My zoom is up to date, our organization says annotate is turned on, but no pencil or lower left hand menu shows on my ipad. What else do I need to do? Thanks

What if the pencil icon isn’t showing on your iPad?

Check that you're updated with the latest version of Zoom. You can do this by going to your app store. You also won't see the pencil icon in any meeting where annotation isn't enabled

I am hosting zoom meetings with my iPad so that I can draw. When my clients share their own screens, I can annotate. However, when I share my own screen, I can’t find the annotation option. Any way to change this, or is this a weird quirk when hosting with an iPad?

That is a weird thing that happens, have you looked to make sure the Zoom app on your iPad is updated? Zoom doesn't currently automatically update all of your devices at once so you need to update them manually on your own. You also should double-check that you've enabled annotation when you're screensharing as that might need to first be turned on so you're able to annotate.
