Richie is right about divide. Yet I would like to correct. It has always been more on the line of class. Grew up in the deep South. We in New Orleans and southeast Louisiana are a state where 2/3 of our population has ALWAYS been below the poverty level. I find this in every culture. The very best people on earth have the least. I would invite anyone to come to Southeast Louisiana and enjoy the culture. Cajun/ Creole!! We are mixed with French, Spanish, west Indies and other's. Some call our french speaking (broken french). For it is mixed with english. You go from French to english, and back. In the same conversation. Creole is spoken here. Which is also spoken in West Indies. Haiti. Even parts of Africa. New Orleans and the south has always been one of the most tolerant and loving of each other in the country. Their are those in ALL 50 state's whom are bias. That is shameful. We are ALL GOD'S people! Richie was referring to a money martrix? Here in the south we still believe in love for GOD! Love for family! Love for country. More people are fleeing the east and west for the south. Richie is welcome in my home. I promise he will fall in love with some of my Cajun/Creole mixed sister in law's and family! Also our cultures. If we can put POLITICS aside. I know we can come together again. I am in Mississippi. Gulf Coast U.S. 5 day's. I met a wonderful Fillipina woman named Rosemarie at lunch. Why does she call herself a Grouper? 5555! Thailand's infrastructure is 100% better than the PI. I will catch hell for this but thetre is no way the PI ties with Thailand! I have lived in both places. Yes the Pinay folks are nice but IMHO the Thais are nicer and more respectful and considerate and Buddhism beats Catholicism. The Thai food is 100% better too and better for you!
