It had this variation with character of the week villians, Zoom, multiple earths, time travel (Flash Back), RF in a new incarnation and in Wells incarnation in Flash Back and Iris's character was handled properly like a reporter unlike irritating iris s04. Perfect mix of villians, story, acting and everything. S02 was a masterpiece.

And Patty as well. Patty Spivot is one character I miss. She was a really cool character as a detective plus she had excellent chemistry with Barry.

They are both good but here are some pb in both of them: Zoom: amazing story but bad face reveal and explanation to why he wants to destroy the multiverse. Also i dont dig the whole romance between him and Caitlin and also how does injecting Barry's speedforce into him help him not be sick? Why does his lightning stay blue after that?!? Savitar: Very little appearances and very late face reveal (Also bad attempt to mesh the alchemy, philosopher stone and kid flash into his plan to just make Barry create time remnants so that he can live). Why does the suit turn red when Barry (2017 one) is in it?

Why? The savitar from season 3 isn't a god. Barry just took the name from the real savitar.

I believe at some point there was a real Savitar that isnt Barry. I mean the "loop" had to have a beginning.

No, that's the point about loops. They have no beging and no end. The time remnant of Barry that became Savitar just traveled through time and eventually figured out that he himself was Savitar. We know that Barry in 2056 sent a message to Rip Hunter about Savitar, the Barry that continued to be the Flash figured it out eventually, so we can assume that "Savitar" figured it out faster, since he traveled through time, perhaps he even tried to find Savitar and ran into himself..... that broke him, just like it did with Reverse Flash. That made him insane. He realised that the pain he felt for loosing Iris, was because a future version of himself killed her and he knew that he would eventually become that person.

no they never met but remember reverse flash is from the far future so he knows every villian, every crisis that happens. Zoom, savitar, devoe, cicada, bloodwork ect. But flash faced dr light and used speed mirages that go at a higher speed so thats how he knows
