When puppies expend crazy amounts of energy and tear through the house, sometimes people think it’s abnormal. But let me assure you it is perfectly normal and it’s happening nationwide! Most people call them “Zoomies”, sometimes we refer to it as the “witching hour” Because it often happens in the evening. This is when puppies have an extra amount of energy that needs to be addressed. I recommend you sit back and laugh but, if you’re not able to I highly encourage you to provide mental stimulation such as a puzzle feeder, a Kong stuffed with goodies or some type of toy that your dog is crazy about. The energy must come out, you cannot suppress it so just go with it 🐾
