In regards of Paradis deserve the annihilation: 1. The future war, where they used nuclear weapons, the entire world was also destroyed (see the Linked Horizon lyrics). So it's not only the Paradis, it's the whole civilizations in the world that got destroyed. My take is that it's a civil war between the mainlanders Eldian settler and pure Eldian on the island, or even an entire world war. 2. The deaths of billions is difficult to forget, yes. But after 2000 years? The Chinese hold no grudges to the Mongols massacring their population 700 years ago. Now, 2000 years? Peoples change, culture changes, and government changes, so who knows what kind of society destroy themselves in the future war of Paradis, it's up for us to interpret it. After all helicopters and fighter jets would be ancient after that long. Also, the same exact buildings wouldn’t stay standing either. If it was really 2000 years, your interpretation could work. But even then, the Mongols in today’s world stopped being a threat or even relevant. On the other hand Eldia became a totalitarian Yeagerist state bent on finishing what Eren started, based on the ending we saw. A good number of ordinary Paradisians may have fled and settled around the world, which would have been possible since half of the Alliance were Eldians from Paradis and loved as heroes. The end of Paradis was probably brought on by their own actions, maybe a war or genocide of Rumbling survivors that the world put an end to. Paradis would have had the initiative immediately after the Rumbling, since the world was obviously devastated. But the yeagerists were unimaginative and likely caught up to by the united world pretty quick and pushed back to their island.

Please stop scaring people. The 1920s or 1930s are not comparable to our time at all. Germany is a stable democracy and part of NATO and EU for decades. Therefore it is highly unlikely that we will see another world war caused by Germany in the foreseeable future.
