There's something so surreal seing a futuristic city in the Attack On Titan universe which was set during an era that was similar to the early 1900s. Also, I see two nuclear power plant funnels. Whether the child becomes another founding titan. Stopping a second rumbling will be much easier as nuclear bombs should be readily available by now.

If she had had a child, tradition would have required her to pass on the same symbol to her child and no longer hide the clan mark, but she had never given birth, so she did not. I even theorize that the destroyers of Paradis were the people that left the island after the rumbling due to not agreeing with Yeagerist military regime (we saw that some peopleleft). After centuries their population size grew so much they became their own nation, along with Paradis they were more powerful then descendants of marleyans and hizuru and other non-eldians nations that survived. And they got at war on future Paradis people and destroyed them, at a time that rumbling and titans were considered but a myth, and without even knowing they were once the same people...

@@zesh_er Fifteen thousand years have passed from when there was rumbling to when the island scenery is bombed in the background, they didn't even believe anymore that rumbling had probably happened (the final song in the theme song is called ‘to you in 2000 years... or 20,000 years’). It is as if we now believe that dragons once existed because there are legends about them. What has happened, and what Isayama meant, is that humans for one reason or another will always end up waging wars because unfortunately it is part of their being. Even if they had passed the story on from generation to generation centuries later there was no more evidence to prove it (Eren's grave was secret and only his friends knew where it was, besides the fact that it is only a gravestone, there is no writing on it ‘here rests the one who had destroyed 80% of the world’) consequently it has definitely become a legend that no one believes in anymore. Simply the humans on the island had disagreements, for one reason or another, with other humans and a new war broke out, the end. 😊

The unsettling thing is not how realistic this is, but how the story of Eren and the others is just a speck of dust in time. In 2,000 years there was a war destroying the cities of Paradis Island, and in 20,000 years there are only remnants of an ancient civilization shrouded by the landscape of nature. How many times have we stumbled upon discovering civilizations that existed thousands of years ago but that disappeared due to wars caused by themselves? The cycle never ends, that's it.

Alongside the Nephilim (as working with them), the book also mention something about "Monsters" but the real meaning is not clear. I'm surprised seeing how many people failed to see the Silver Lining in this series. People always focused on the war in the future and said Eren failed in protecting Paradis. But did they saw the thousand years of peace and progress before the war? A year of war and terror may be easier to remember, but thousand years of peace and prosperity? In the end, Eren did what he need to do, his friends and families live long and happy life, and died in comfort within their loving families and friends. As what happened in the future, it doesn't matter anymore, they probably already forgot about the Rumbling, the Titans, and Eren's sacrifice, and a new conflict arise, be it's Eldians vs the world or Eldians vs Eldians.

@@saadqazi3833 I respect your opinion. What I want to say is that we, the viewers, tend to see the negative side of things while forgetting all the positivity in the world. In regards of Paradis deserve the annihilation: 1. The future war, where they used nuclear weapons, the entire world was also destroyed (see the Linked Horizon lyrics). So it's not only the Paradis, it's the whole civilizations in the world that got destroyed. My take is that it's a civil war between the mainlanders Eldian settler and pure Eldian on the island, or even an entire world war. 2. The deaths of billions is difficult to forget, yes. But after 2000 years? The Chinese hold no grudges to the Mongols massacring their population 700 years ago. Now, 2000 years? Peoples change, culture changes, and government changes, so who knows what kind of society destroy themselves in the future war of Paradis, it's up for us to interpret it. @@kevinabiwardani7550 I was sort of going off the manga as that was what I’d known before, where the gap was 100 - 200 years (The boy at the end could have been 2000+ years later). After all helicopters and fighter jets would be ancient after that long. Also, the same exact buildings wouldn’t stay standing either. If it was really 2000 years, your interpretation could work. But even then, the Mongols in today’s world stopped being a threat or even relevant. On the other hand Eldia became a totalitarian Yeagerist state bent on finishing what Eren started, based on the ending we saw. A good number of ordinary Paradisians may have fled and settled around the world, which would have been possible since half of the Alliance were Eldians from Paradis and loved as heroes. The end of Paradis was probably brought on by their own actions, maybe a war or genocide of Rumbling survivors that the world put an end to. Paradis would have had the initiative immediately after the Rumbling, since the world was obviously devastated. But the yeagerists were unimaginative and likely caught up to by the united world pretty quick and pushed back to their island.
