I assume mouse takes opioid painkillers? Or is she on a type of THC-related treatment? Or just sedatives? With her condition and lung issues it surprises me theyd give her opioids with the respiratory risk, but obv idk her exact history or anything. Just curious. Also zooted is such an old weird term, i remember it from 10-15 years ago lol. Feels weird using it to describe someone who takes it because she legit has severe medical reasons.

It's something to do with plasma infusions, since Ironmouse would only take a larger dosage when she doesn't get to have her plasma injections (plasma is short in supply during January to December due to logistics issues). rest of the internet says it's some kind of painkiller, but most painkillers do give a high if taken in a sufficiently high dose.

What's the deal with the drugs? I assume they are painkillers for her cronic sickness, or is it a medicine? If it's painkillers, what sort are they? Are they the type that are addictive?

I believe it's when she gets a transfusion of plasma. 1) it involves something that isn't regularly donated or doesn't actually happen alot and 2) I believe she had to take additional medication to go along with the transfusion so her body can correctly adjust. Long story short, it's something that puts alot of strain on her body. She almost rarely gets the plasma transfusion, so her body is always at like 10% capacity, so when she gets it's her body is running at like 100% capacity which is something she isn't used to, but then she takes medication to make sure it doesn't negatively affect her, so she's kinda running at like 80% body capacity while being at 50% brain capacity, if I recall her explanation correctly. It's quite the trip.
