most of these aren't voice actors. It's actors doing their regular voices because executives think "blank, voiced by 'famous actor'" draws more people in. This movie isn't really that bad since it was a brand new IP, but lots of other movies suffer from it especially older IPs. The Mario movie is a great example, everyone was horribly cast except for maybe Charlie Day and especially Jack Black. Seth Rogen as donkey kong was one of the worst castings I've ever seen.

I notice when really good voice actors do different voices they use their whole body to do the voice. Same goes for great impressions, you see the same thing they don’t just change their voice they’ll change their facial expression, their posture even changes. Love it!
