Why do you have to keep heating and cooling after every step?

The process involves heating then cooling the metal to relax the stiffness and brittleness resulting from working the metal. Think of it as relaxing the lattice of metal atoms that get compacted together and form a tight crystalline structure in response to the stress from the manipulations. The processs called Annealing.

It sets the molecules in the metal to a hardened state. Then they can reduce the size, set it again, repeat, so it keeps the wire in a stretched and strong state. If they just resized it and kept resizing it, it would have weak spots and break.

That is possibly true, but only by comparison with some style you already admire. But if you look closely and see how this particular twisted wire process results in this fractal‐like surface. It really is unique. Look again, l did not like it before seeing finally it without the opinion based on comparison, limited at best.

Это первое видео из цикла "работы ювелира", которое было стыдно смотреть. Кривое плетение (это даже не плетение), кривая пайка. Бесполезность этого браслета удивляет.
