The song is in fact about Tails wanting to be cool just like Sonic, Sonic is Tails' biggest inspiration, but he is also very dependent on Sonic, the song also talks about how he CAN'T be Sonic no matter how hard he tries, so he gotta stand out on his own way, doing the things he can that only HE can, just like there are things only Sonic can do too

So little mistake on yesmen's part is that the SA2 version of the song is done by Kaz Silver not Karen Blake, Believe in Myself is the only character songs between SA1 and SA2 where the original singer is not doing vocals

I love this song, the SA1 version specifically, reminds me of my daughter, she was a premature baby and had to work extra hard in school but is really coming her own, kinda reminds me of the lyrics, anyways great reaction :)

Personally, I really just like Version 2. Because it really feels like it captures the INTENDED feel of the lyrics more.

You should do Knuckles theme song from Sonic adventure 1 and 2 and in sa2 every level have the own style characterization and the scenery like for example shadows first stage Radical Highway is Under Deep Black and Reds like Shadow and City Escape is Sonic's first level it's bright and happy undersunlight like Sonic

I really love how near the beginning of Sonic Adventure Sonic saves Tails, and throughout most of the game its Tails following around Sonic and telling himself to be more brave like Sonic. Then in Sonic Adventure 2, the roles get flipped to a degree. Near the beginning of ther Hero Story, Tails saves Sonic. Then after Tails breaks Sonic out of prison, Tails is the one who begins devising the plan to stop Eggman and the Ark and essentially pushing the story forward for the heros, while Sonic trusts his plans and follows along with him. It's a great showcase of how much he grows after Sonic Adventure.

When it comes to Sonic fans songs will you ever decide to react to some of them? Cause I know a fan song called Find my way made by Emi Jones (Emuemi as her KZfaq name) which is heavily inspired off Believe in myself that I got reminded of listening to these songs and is basically a Tails fan theme lol. The same person has also made what’s best described as a lullaby remix of Believe in myself if your interested.
