Thanks for he video. Zorin 17.1 is awesome for Windows users. It keeps many thing working on double clicking without needing the Terminal, and still it is good to see how things can be changed through the terminal. The terminal is the biggest turn of for both Windows and Mac users.

When installing the OS you can use any length of password and it is accepted. I won't say how many alpha/digits I use but it is shorter than 8 and I found that there is a forced login if the laptops having Zorin, or Mint, are put into sleep or the lids are just closed. Personally I don't mind auto log in, and I love the feature of using fewer than 8 a/ds for login. I didn't know about the terminal thing and thanks for that.

Installing is one thing, changing passwords after installing ..that is another , my point was not about how to use a single character password. I did the video on the intent of making people think about options.

I had issues with two fingerprint readers in Microsoft 10 and 11 , so my guess this hardware can be buggy . The other issue is some hardware manufactures do not make software for Linux Desktops, since I think in most cases...not enough market share for a profit.
