In this Hoplite Battle Royale I craft one of my favorite LEGENDARY weapons, the war pickaxe! The war pickaxe is a sharpness 10 diamond pickaxe that does LOTS of damage.. here's why it's Hoplite's Secret Best Weapon

Zova, I completely agree with you. No one likes the War pickaxe, because they can't combo, but the thing is, people do not realise that with 4 good crits, someone is dead like that. Simple! also, zova ur kinda one of the best hoplite youtubers

Did you know if you use it like a sword, it doesn’t do full damage but around the same as a sharp 3.5 diamond sword, and when they get low you can full crit them to do massive damage

1:05 Not sure if anybody's told you before but crits only add 50% of the weapon's base damage, not the total damage. For example a base diamond sword is 7, an axe is 9 and a diamond pickaxe (war pick) is only 5 So a sharp 3 axe crit: 11 + 4.5 = 15.5 a war pick crit: 10.5 + 2.5 = 13 and a sharp 3 diamond sword crit: 9 + 3.5 = 12.5

@@Rubberduckboy123 That's honestly reasonable. Though I don't like the 1.9+ combat too much in general, as it is the crits only working above 90% charge is a good thing.

If you break a 1 tall grass under the person with the war pick it will break a 3x3 hole and they will fall in it and it slows them down a lot

Did you say that if you mine block with war pick it's duplicate? Try placing gold block and mine it again and again hope it helps

zova, do you think that adding game modifiers similar to hypixel uhc would benefit the game? it at the very least would make it less stale and more replayable, but i dont think i play hoplite enough to have a great opinion

The war pickaxe is great, it just gets underrated due to the generic name and texture compared to Mjolnir or the Reaper Scythe, for example.

hoplite needs some skill rewarding crafts like how hermes boots was in hypixel (crafts that you can get pretty easily if you go for it but require a head / are less OP than the fully RNG crafts becuase they jst want noobs to get lucky wins) rushing either etable or shortsword unless i go looter is so boring
