What I do when binding is I always try to create mock-ups, like printed on copy paper or something cheaper than the actual zine so I don't end up experimenting on any of my actual prints (mostly because printing in my country can be pretty expensive and I don't know any print shops in my area). If you have any spreads in your zines it's always good to just print the pages as spreads so if ever you want to sewing machine bind it then nothing gets lost. Or you can print with bleed, just take care to make sure it lines up during sewing.

Hello!!! could you do a tutorial on how you scan your drawings and arrange them digitally (esp how you get the white of the paper to fit/blend with the white of the editing canvas!) your one of a kind from uni is amazing! Loved your little zine! so sad they're sold out :-(

how do you go about resizing your images after scanning them and NOT losing your resolution quality!

Scanning at about 600 dpi works really well in my experience

I bake them maybe like 1-2 minutes at the very most! i always watch them and take them out as soon as they lay flat :-)

You should make copies of that zine you created for uni. Perzines are totally accessible to folks. I create perzines for each semester of art school and sell them.
