ZRT 600 is back up and running!

I finally get around to replacing the bottom end in the old ZRT 600. the crank bearings were making some noies and the crank seals were leaking the last time we had it out so I picked up a replacement bottom end from peterborough cycle salvage and put it in! now the old zrt is back up and runnin and waiting for the snow!! 🍻

Awesome Sled! Triples are what got me hooked, these sleds are scary fast for 600s, my cousin had a 97 or 98 EXT 600 Triple. Awesome Video

They actually made decent mountain sleds with extensions and long tracks. Until the 98 summit x 670 came out and stomped a huge hole.

ZRT's clutching on the 600s was pretty junk from the factory.. made them feel gutless. mine will stand right up in a foot of snow. red / green primary spring and a real heavy secondary spring. spend a few hours messing with the springs / weights and its like you get double the horsepower.

Just picked one identical to this up, including the sheit bottom end. Just did a compression test and the PTO and the MAG sides have no compression.....Does you place in PTBO ship? I have a hard time finding good parts here up north ,and something tells me that I'm need some hard parts on this one.
