I’ve had mine for 10 years now. I carry it every single day. I was in the Army then a truck driver and a carpenter/handyman. So the knife has been through hell. It still looks, operates, and cuts like it’s brand new. I throw it on a basic sharpener every couple of months with no issue on the edge. Best knife ever!!

If it hasn't been mentioned, you can pull the top scale off and remove the spring and it still has a detent. functions awesome as a manual flipper. Then it'll drop shut for you. You can always put it back if you like it better the other way. The knife design gives you the option. Mine flicks out faster without the spring in, and the detent is perfect

Mine is 7 years and I bought a 0308 which I love as well. ZT knives are just on another level I use to be Benchmade fanboy but ZT has been and became my 1st choice period I don’t care about weight in my EDC I’ll shave off weight anywhere where I can because I won’t change my ZT’s hell no

I buy knives because I love them but I check out videos like this after the fact to see if there are any issues to look out for. So happy to hear how much everyone loves this knife. I went nuts and bought this the day after I spent $300 on a titanium 0562 lol. $500 in two days for two knives. Not my proudest moment, but such is life.

I wish zt would update this model and do a version that is non assisted with some weight reduction on it

This knife has been my EDC since around 2012ish, the only other knife that I rarely switch it out with is my side is my Karambit

12 years now. im seriously thinking about the magnacut version. i just took my 0350 apart put new parts in and its like new.

Very easy to open and close with one hand. This knife is great. I find myself going to it over my many other ZTs and spidercos in my collection.

Jake, let me tell you. KEEP THIS KNIFE. I sold it as my collection grew, well let me tell you, I was so upset 6 mo later that I had to go out and buy it again. Meanwhile, I had bought Hinderer's and high end framelocks.... Doesn't matter... I never regretted getting rid of a knife as bad as this one... From then on... I never got rid of it again since then.... It is a "forever knife" for sure brother. Love the life of a knife collector.... Enjoy Jake! 🤙🤙🤘🤘

The blade steel is s30v

I love my ZT 0350. Its one of only a few assisted openers i own and one of the only ones i actually dont mind that its assisted. Ergos are fantastic and the blade is super slicey. Wish it was a little thinner behind the edge but it does a great job as is.

Check out the older 0300 ZTS and the new 308 ZT !

Steel liners on these and they do have a good detent if you want to de-assist it.

I have the tiger striped one and always carry it. Butchered many a deer, rabbit, squirrel 🐿️

I liked mine so much that I bought a second one. Both of mine are stonewash. This knife has been discontinued and you have to look on ebay to find them. I think you can find the tigerstripe version at some retailers.

I have the same one just the black wash version. I also bought a titanium deep carry pocket clip for it. My favorite knife by far!

I want one of these so bad as I've carried it's younger brother The Kershaw clash for 12 years now. I believe this would be my excaliber but I really only want to pay about $120 for one as I think that's all they should cost considering the long standing lock issue never addressed.

I've wondered about this model for a while. I have an 0562 which I really like even though it's heavier than I typically like. Always liked the looks of the 0350 a lot but not a fan of the spring assist. Nice review, I may end up buying one of these to satisfy my curiosity, thank you!

I'm a subscriber and really enjoy your reviews. I just have a question though. There are alot of reviews of the ZT 0350 that show the lock failing during hard use. Have you ever encountered the ZT 0350's lock failing?

I also bought this knife, ran into a problem. In the closed position of the blade, if you press the knife in your hand or simply press on the blade, the blade touches the backspacer. May I ask you to check this question?

Great knife! A classic beast. ZT did some really cool stuff back then. Didn’t ZT start out using 154CM? Maybe that’s what yours has.
