Couldn't you just flip the tiny top flap over to it's open position then flip the cover flap over to meet with the tiny flap to keep it from slumping down? (Back of battery, tiny flap, cover flap)

The extra weight is actually not as much of a problem as Alex thinks. The Joycon rails, as long as they're not defective, can hold the added weight quite easily - they were designed with quite a bit of leeway in mind. The flap, though, yeah. Would be nice if that magnetized onto the back as well. What's more of a problem, which isn't addressed in the video, is that this accessory covers up the back vents of the Switch with something that itself gets warm during use - while it won't *immediately* overheat it's probably a Bad Thing™ in the long term. Overall, while I like the idea of a battery case for the Switch (3 hours can be very short if you travel a lot), this one just seems to have too many design problems to really be worth it. Sorry ZTEK, but your claim is false.

I 3D printed holder for my Anker 20100 mAh battery pack. I've been using it since Spletoon 2 came out and it's awesome! One of the kind, didn't eaven upload it to Thingiverse.

The ultimate battery case would come with a custom dock(built in Ethernet and usb 3 required), a joycon brace, and a bar kickstand.

Seems a little odd to try and review something you haven't had an opportunity to test if it performs its primary function well :/

Over long periods of playtime i start the feel the weight of the switch and my hands get tired. So i feel like using this case which probably adds a reasonable amount of weight is a pretty big deal and wouldn't be too great

Looks surprisingly good. Would be good for use in the car when my daughter wants to play. The screen protector is a good idea, recognising it probably won't fit in a case

So I got a flap on the subscribe button and it seems to be charging, however there is remnants of a kickstand sticking out of it and slightly obscuring the notification bell. It also seems to be sliding down the page with the added weight. This is just too awkward for me... 😉

is there a cover like that i can buy with out the battery? i do got a carring case but it is alittle bulcky to fit in my work locker

If that magnet is double sided and it only sticks to the black side, why not put the flap over the magnet and hook it that way instead of trying to put the magnet over the top of the flap. What I'm saying is, you can still probably hook it around the back of the Switch, you just didn't think hard enough.

actually it's very much like the switch hybrid case but with a built in battery and the magnetic flap and I love my hybrid cover because it gives the proper amount of rest support to play in what I simply call versatile portable mode you can prop it in your lap or on and mostly flat but maybe uneven surface I prefer the jo cons detached however I tried picking this up recently and the usb c port is not charging my switch so I don't know how reliable this is the battery itself is fine I can charge using the usb cable but it defeats the purpose a bit since the stand bit doesn't raise the switch enough for a standard cable to plug in while being propped up I trying to figure out how diverse this problem is to know whether to bother with an exchange or just return it and be done, I love the added usefulness since my hybrid case is my oldest and most loved switch case and this charger case added battery to my favorite design but I don't want to end up with a dud and I wonder if it will be long lasting or break too easily

The battery life of the Switch isn't even bad to begin with and I have yet to even run out of battery when out and about with it.

i think its nice to have a battery but at the same time i dont know that i trust it. first off, i feel the battery might make the switch hotter than it already gets, causing damage. and secondly i noticed that there actually its a way for the intake ports on the back, to intake air because its covered by the battery. =/

I much prefer my iMuto portable battery. I just plug in the Switch in with a standard USB-C cable and it's got 3 times the power that this device has, and 3 plugs, so I can use it with the Switch, my Phone and a 3rd device at the same time if I want.

You gave no mention on the battery life of this product and also gave an inaccurate opinion about the flap always hanging down. I can't believe that you couldn't hook up the magnet to the back of the flap when you were trying to do so in the video because that's where it's supposed to go when you are playing in handheld so it doesn't hang down. Also you repeat yourself a lot which is extremely distracted in the video. This was one of the most sloppy and inaccurate "reviews" (opinion) of a product I've ever seen on KZfaq. Was it the worst? No, but you could do some kind of preparation before making a video like this and at least know the basic information about something you are reviewing.

Any case that blocks the vents on the back is garbage! Itried it before it overheats the switch when you playing demanding games like nba2k or assasins creed don’t buy these cases go for sth that doesn’t block the vents
