Zucchini cheddar cheese scones recipe
If you have zucchini and cheddar cheese at home, make this easy delicious scones, perfect for afternoon tea or coffee time!
Ingredients :
170g (1 cup) grated zucchini
100g (1 cup/ 3,5 oz) cheddar cheese
125g (1/2 cup) yogurt
1 egg (cold)
125g (4oz) butter
330g (2 1/2 cup) flour
2 tbsp sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp dried rosemary
1/2 tsp dried thyme
Pinch of black pepper
1 tbsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda.
- mix all together, make round shape
- cut into 8 pieces
- brush with cream
- bake at 200°C /392°F for 20-25 minutes.
