Heading over towards Silloth on Saturday from Shields in the hope of a hound. Big tide so the rip might be an issue... Any advice on the beach North or South of the prom on low tide if you've fished there?

Awesome stuff mate, tide shouldn’t be too much of an issue with 6s and 7oz leads? Tbh mate I’ve never fished silloth, one place for me that is definitely in the dark.

@@zulcronsports thanks mate, appreciate it. It's my first trip over west for hounds... No idea where to go but have heard of Silloth so seemed like a place to start... Unless you have any areas you'd care to recommend 😉. I'd be all ears!

Think I was to the left of you that night 😉think I was the only one not wading out because all I had was a set of white wellies in my work van..had three and a 4lb bass😁 didn't hear of any doubles that night but there coming out now 👍 try fishing the mussel bed on the left on the bigger tides 😉
