Join Stewart as he goes to a local Northumberland cliff mark! Big swells forecasted and big swells is what he got, providing perfect cod conditions! Stewart took advantage of the conditions and managed to hook himself a codling nearly every cast!!

19:46 used to have bags like that off the same shot in the seventies unfortunately now live on the fylde hence no cod well done bonny lad yours in sport

Looked like a cracking session yous all had mate unlucky on gilly though lol that's how it goes sometimes you fis the same distance same bait same place one will catch the other won't it stumps me but it happens, good watch as usual though mate.

Hi Stewart, some nice cod there! We bet you all had some fun fishing together, it's always good for the crack! There's still none in the river Humber or at least few and far between. Great angling again, Stu. Ive learned the hatteras watching your uploads and its helped no end, just have the time to do the sort of bait prep that you do though. Only thing i need now is a 5lb+ for PB 😂 im gonna try the dongle rig this Sunday at the Amble Open for first time so fingers crossed I can win myself a packet of hooks at the weigh in 😂😂😂. As always mate, well done on the catching.

I think the reason the fish are swallowing the circle hooks is because you are using Mutsu circles, which have an offset point. The only circle hook to use for catch and release are Inline circles, such as the Mustad Demons. Nice session though.👍

Another crackin session Stewart. Well done again. How high are the cliffs above sea level you where fishing? I know of a few rocky outcrops I'm thinking of trying here on the Co Antrim Causeway coastline

Hey mate thanks a lot!! In this video I was using 50lb Sea knight braid with a 100lb braided shock leader!! And I’ve got the 100lb shockleader doubled over for the dongle!!

So I’m using braid mate I’m allowing them to bite a few more seconds while in the rod rest and giving them a little bump initially and then just winding into it!
