⁠@@martingaspar8364depends on what games they play (if any) cause of just the basic mechanics like kiting and stuff Zwag also makes a lot of builds that are not easy to pull off as a newby so probably they would stuggle to find the best build/ champ at first But game vise it def helps to know a lot about the basics and I love how Zwag calculates what an item will do exactly so I would say prob better start than many but still would not be as good

@@ceshadow mmm, I'd say yes you're right but ashe does suffer more from bad crit items than any other adc because the other adcs can use the crit still, but ashe doesn't get crit scaling, only increasing slows. the thing about bruiser (and some assassin) items is that they're just REALLY good in general - triforce, cleaver, goredrinker, hullbreaker are all extremely gold efficient items that give great stats. for any adc that's able to use bruiser items, it automatically puts them a cut above their previous state - triforce ez, goredrinker samira, triforce ashe, ghostblade cait. etc., are all stronger than their full crit or full adc counterparts because of how good the items are. I'm not saying ashe is OP with triforce, but that triforce (and other bruiser items) tend to be overtuned for adcs and probably will end up getting nerfed or the champs that can use these items get nerfed because riot doesn't like adcs going non-adc items. Just look at how much they buffed cait's crit scaling to force her off lethality, or how they nerfed kaisa and zeri's w ap scaling to stop them going ap.

@@a.v.y8331 I agree. Riot at the moment is lost in terms of balance, hence why they will remove mythics in january. They try to force ADC's into crit items but to me that's not the right way to do it, LoL should celebrate build variaty and innovation yet it wants players to build the same thing every game.

@@FarmerFigs lethality cait was strong, sure, but their changes didn't make cait any weaker, they just made it impossible for her to go full lethality now. statikk's leblanc was overtuned, but making it such that she can't use it anymore as an alternative playstyle feels like they're forcing a specific route. how many times have they nerfed shiv at this point? honestly, it's quite a lot, and more than necessary to make sure that ap champs can't overabuse it, rather than allowing it to maintain a healthy balance where it's totally fine for a poor waveclear ap champ to pick it up early or a heavy ap scaling champ to pick it up late. I think recent changes to bruiser and lethality items/champions which use these items come in two forms - one is to ensure some kind of game balance so we don't get overtuned champs and items. but the other is to strongly encourage champions to prefer certain builds over others. riot wants us to prefer crit cait to lethality cait, ap burst leblanc to ad leblanc, crit zeri to ap zeri, attack speed kaisa to ap kaisa. don't forget, they also heavily nerfed iceborn sheen damage so blue build ez wouldn't be a thing again. not that I disagree with you entirely, there are certainly lots of things that need reworking and retuning, especially items like hullbreaker which are so insanely gold efficient that building it on any champ that benefits from the stats is actually a completely fine choice. it needs an identity, not just "splashable item".
