Riot hates mages. They’re almost never allowed to be good and when they are it’s only to allow them to bully the only class they hate more, ADC, in the bot lane. The game is all about bruisers, skirmishers, assassins and anyone who does flashy plays with enough dashes to jump from Australia to Canada.

The damage has to count as basic damage to proc wildarrows. So an ability has to count as a basic attack (aka applies on-hit) and have the ability to crit.

You forgot to use the most powerfull Garen tool. Ctrl+1 spam to twerk after a kill. It deal GIGA damage to mental health and enemy usuall tilt in chat or mental boom after couple outplay button presses.

not exactly, without him, his team had no peel. The best they could hope for was some poke damage or a once-only assassination. Based on conversations about the guy, it's likely that the player who took top as a "favor" to him, since he got counter-picked, did not play top often. When you look at the damage of the opponents, it is roughly double his team's for these reasons and one even had similar to his own.

Core items: Archangel's, Heartsteel OR Iceborn Gauntlet, Riftmaker (for HP to AP conversion) AND/OR Liandry's Situational items (pick some): Rod of Ages, Rylai's, Cosmic Drive, Frozen Heart, Abbysal Mask, Spirit Visage, Force of Nature, Kaenic, Jak'Sho, Warmog's Primary runes: Grasp, Demolish, Conditioning, Overgrowth OR standard Conqueror. Secondary runes: Manaflow, Gathering Storm OR Presence of mind, Last stand. Extra facts: You want Archangel's first, because Cass is so mana hungry. ult + targeted multi-hit attack. The team had no peel without Garen there and was forced to rely on poke damage. When you look at the opposing team, their stats are roughly double his team's and one is similar to his own... he would have been better off telling them to split push and just back off during fights when they happen.
