Testing my new irrigation system with Fibaro Zwave relays, Athom Homey homeautomation controller and Hunter valves and hop-up sprinklers. Rainbird valve-box and valve manifold.
Control using external push-buttons (=wife), app (=me) and automation by Athom Homey.

This is a great project and well executed. I'm going to be doing the same soon in my garden. Do you have links for where you got the electrical cabinet. That looks really smart. Thanks.

Thanks alot! Its been working really well and was super fun. The actual cabinet is a rather simple IP65 cabinet. Unfortunately i do not remember the actual model but it cost like ~$40 here in Sweden. As you can see on the right side at 0:39 i mounted a simple membrane that in theory should help release any moisture but i am not sure if that was needed or not. Most likely not. Otherwise i mounted two DIN rails, 5 push-buttons from Eaton and a power socket for the waterpump. Looking great but it's a lot of work for a bit of water. A simple hose does the trick also.

Did you find a way to measure water flow, or how do you prevent the irrigation to flood your garden? I guess setting up a few time based flow is easy as well.

Yes i am still only doing time based but i must say it has worked better than expected. So no flooding...yet...

Looks great! Do you have a wiring diagram that you can share that shows how that is all connected together?
