Still way more powerful than my 2018 Office laptop which rocks an Intel i3 8th gen, 4GB of the slowest DDR4 which is 2133MHz and single channel, Intel UHD 620 and the only good thing is the battery life lmao I enjoyed you benchmarking that 2012 gaming laptop, That AMD GPU tho

Is impressive for a 9 years old laptop, my old pc (from 2017) with i3-7100, RX 550 4GB and 16GB DDR4 2400MHZ it has about the same performance.

I'm really surprised that it can reach 30FPS in RDR2 at 1080p resolution ! I was getting only 10FPS more with a desktop GTX 780 ... AMD gpu's age like fine wine. Nice video as usual ;)

@@MasoMathiou random info but for reference on an rx 570 I was getting 60fps at 1080p low settings. The game seems better optimised on amd likely because of the consoles

Ha, I just got an M17x R4 for free with this very GPU, and a 500GB SSD, with 16GB RAM, searched for videos and ran into this, it’s amazing to see this old clunker run these games passably. It’s no match for my desktop 2080ti rig, but for free; I ain’t complaining. Subbed!

It's weird to see GTA V follow CP 2077 because it instantly looks so much better, despite GTA V being a game from 2013. (this shows what some reflections and at least 1080p in GTA V can do compared to technically better textures and detail in CP 2077, which obviously isn't visible in 720p low) Maybe if you play CP 2077 in windowed mode it's a little bit better, but I doubt it will look good. In general this laptop is still better than a lot of PCs out there. Maybe even better than some similar priced, new PCs.

interesting that it's a 7870 actually, shaderwise I still have x2 7870s. Now that we know its a 7870, it should make this GPU more powerful than the base PS4 and well way more powerful than the xbox one. Too bad you can't OC this, you'd get more performance. But well that is if the CPU was better. This laptop surprised me.

Yay, a laptop video I use my laptop with a 920mx to play Valorant from time to time. My desktop PC though is an ancient GTX 770 with an i5 4570 (probably soon an i7 4790k since I really want to update but I wouldnt have money to buy a whole new PC at the moment)

My laptop is from 2013 lmfao And i still used it for gaming 😂 Spec: I3-3227U 1.9GHZ 8GB of ram GT 710m of GPU 500GB or HDD Games: -CSGO Fps: 20-100 Usually csgo does stutter fps cause of CPU -Minecraft with shaders and texture pack Fps: 30-35 -Dota 2 fps:40-50

Again and again: 2011 AMD gpus aged much better than even 2016 nVidia gpus - this is GCN and it works great on new games like Cyberpunk and Warzone, unlike the 1050ti . Also, you can do wonder with vbios editing to lower the voltage a little bit and rise the frequency of both core and ram at the same time and get much better frames.

rockstar did not optimize the rdr2 much.They have taken their revenge of optimization(gta v) by rdr2 .

I don't really experience the same thing but that's probably because I'm on a gtx 1070, the lowest I really get is 90fps but it's 120+ majority of the matches

The 7870 variants are one of the all times for AMD in my opinion. That card just kept chugging along for years 💯

you should pull those gpu's, get an mxm 3.0 to pci-e adapter and test them in a full system with an Accelero heat sink! Also an ssd will usually give 15-20% increase in fps depending on the game and setup.

Impressive performance!! It can even rum cyberpunk.. And rdr2 man... Whoevere bought it back then.. That was the best decision

I have the 7570m in my HP Elitebook from 2012 that I still use to this day. I put 16gb of ram and an ssd in it and I haven't found a reason to upgrade yet. Mine is a 14in monitor at 1600x900 and I usually just play Skyrim on it. Works perfect for normal pc usage and older games.
