The 06-07 ZX-10R is a wobble monster even with the (useless) stock steering damper.

“Death grip” my friend. You need to grip the handlebars loosely to prevent speed wobbles-as you can see here in the video. The steering stabilizer prevented it from happening here but it’s greatly exaggerated without one.

@@tangomike4839 That makes no sense. Your water pump and oil is run off your engine speed. Pulling in the clutch doesn't allow the engine to cool faster at all, the opposite actually. And engine breaking uses little to no fuel so no extra heat. Idling your engine will mean coolant and oil is circulated more slowly.

I have. The gen1 is a much more wild ride but the gen3 is pretty badass stock. Just ugly as hell. I have a video of a gen3 ride on my channel

Gen 1 and 2 faster than gen 5 lol sorry man specially when it comes to front end coming up as these are stupid light comapded to other 1000s🤷‍♂️..not by any real noticable difference at all when riding the bike and I'm sure she pulls up like a mofo on ya all the time tho still one of the best/fastest 1000s at the end of the day unless you buy the most recent most insane priced bike all the 1000s are like right about even with eachother......I have a gen 1 and thank god they made that bike look how it looks in 2004 because it looks truley like it was made within the last few years and not many from back then look modern..I bought it with the intention of getting a newer 1000 after saving up some money after a season maybe 2 and I'm just starting to ride it again for season #3 now, I ended up just going through the entire bike replacing anything that even looked like it could be worn and did a little modding lol now my plan it try and keep it forever if i can haha..just rolled over to 11k the other day...ride on brother!
