Amazing bike, you've done a superb job on it ,must be amazing to ride that thing. I did a similar rebuild on my ZX-11D with a ZZR1200 engine installed - full ZZR1200 running gear, radiator, oil cooler and exhaust downpipes, hyperpro suspension upgrade, suzuki six pot calipers, EBC prolite contour discs front and rear on ZZR1200 wheels, Chain and sprockets geared back to ZX-11 ratios, Carb Dynojet kit, K&N filter, 4degree ignition advancer, yoshimura cans on custom link pipes and a full candy lime green and black paint job.

I"m putting money into my ZX-1100. its also a 1990. The bike is okay but its the 'plastics' that is the problem. I have a Vance and Hines exhaust. We love our Kawasaki Ninja's ZX-1100s, don't we.

This is the best looking zzr 1100 ive ever seen! Im currently looking to buy a 1998 two tone black and grey version completely standard with low miles and basically start modifying it like yours. Have you had your bikes engine out of the frame before? Did you completely break down the bike and rebuild?

Beautiful work. In Japan ZX 11 is an icon. I have a D9 model and the single thing who I hate at this bike is the heat from the engine who 'burn' my legs especially summer, but even so.......... I will never sell this bike.

Hey Steve I have a 96, extremely clean, stock this Dec it qualifies for collector polates here in BC Canada. I like you have decided to keep it. Shortly is LSL superbike bar kit to go on, ignition advancer, jet kit, looking at flo commander and set of Delkevic 14" ovals mated to ZZr1200 header. Bike is super clean and only 34KM on it. I am wondering where or what you used for the side panel vents that you added mesh to I want to do same and over winter I will begin project on it as well. Do you still have it now?

Just did a motor swap in mine, (basically swapped the block).....man what a pain in the ass! For something in 1991, you'd think it was designed by modern NASA engineers! lol.......the engine build was Easy, but lining up all the "sub frames" and motor bolts was a Pain.....I think my frame was "slightly" bent somewhere, that's why things were fishy, pry bars Here, used a Ratchet strap over there, Lol....eventually got it lined up. Got the bike + spare motor for FREE......so I can't complain.
