Here's Super Mario Odyssey, but the Power Moons are all hidden for a funny, creative HIDE AND SEEK Super Mario challenge!! In this funny Mario challenge, Power Moons in Super Mario Odyssey are hidden all across the Kingdom, and Mario + Cappy have to find the hidden Power Moons in this hide and seek Mario challenge! We did this on a 100% complete Super Mario Odyssey save file, with new Power Moons added to Super Mario Odyssey!
After playing a Green Star Hide and Seek challenge in Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury on the Nintendo Switch, we had the idea of doing the same thing in Super Mario Odyssey with Power Moons instead of Green Stars! So some friends and I started a Mario Odyssey challenge where we hide Power Moons from each other in custom Mario Odyssey mods, and play the mods that we each made, trying to beat the challenge of finding all of the hidden moons! Today, I show all of the hidden challenge moons in my Super Mario Odyssey hide and seek mod taking place in the Luncheon Kingdom!
The more I'm playing Mario Odyssey, the more I'm really enjoying the Mario Odyssey theme and the great music from Super Mario Odyssey. Modding Super Mario Odyssey is a lot of fun, and I'll hopefully continue my full playthrough of Super Mario Odyssey, getting all of the moons in Super Mario Odyssey soon :D

0:36 it's rolling using motion controls or, if you're using a GCC like I do, rolling with Z and rhythmic Y presses also GPs out of spin jumps don't have the airstall normally inherent to GPs and you can buffer spins out of cutscenes and all kinds of other stuff lol 5:50 that's how it normally is, just with less Hammer Bros and the platform moves slower

Just so you know, rolling and long jumping if you need to get elevated a little or skip a hole in the ground is the fastest way to move.

If you ground pound, hold ZL, then press Y, you roll really fast. Make sure to wait a tiny bit though so you don't do a downward cap throw

Do you mean that the cannon will be there if you go closer, or do you mean something else? In this mod, that cannon isn't there, even if you go right up to where it normally is

The fastest way to move is a MOTION CONTROLL roll. It has to be through shaking the controller. There are other tricks (easiest to hardest), but you need to look them up. I cannot really explain them in text: Cappy roll jump Roll cancel vector Cappy return cancel (crc), I do not recommend learning the crc, unless you wish to become a top tier 2player speedrunner.

Fun fact, you can still do the Goomba high-jump in handheld mode by shaking your Switch.

I'm really surprised that certain moves are locked behind motion controls, I would've thought there would be another way to do the same thing using buttons 🤷‍♂️

@@ZXMany Same. The downthrow is especially weird, because you need joycons, not a pro controller, to do it. Even so, it's okay because it's almost never used in the air except for a few speedrun stationary vaulting tricks. But especially targeting and moving cappy after throwing should have button options.

To mod 3D world or odyssey (or really any switch game) do you need an emulator or can you just use a computer and a modded switch?

A modded Switch + a computer is enough, but something to keep in mind is that not all Switches can be modded

@@GameBlock_ If you look up "Switch moddable serial number" or "can I mod my Switch" you'll find a list of serial numbers that can be modded and can't be modded, and you can check your Switch's serial number to see if it can be modded!

Oh, great question! Nothing happens if you go into the door, the doors and the loading zones were removed, so it's just an empty area! Great question!
