I accidentally got Baizhu while pulling for kaveh. Even though I didnt get kaveh, Baizhu is definitely the best five star character I have accidentally gotten while pulling for a four star

he positively surprised me, i wasnt expecting much and decided to pull for him anyway cause he looks cool, but he ended up feeling very smooth and comfy. Not to mention, he is so versatile that you can play him in so many teams, so it's a very easy unit to make use of

Despite people calling him bad (here we go again, lol) for me Baizhu was exactly the unit I needed for some of my teams. Especially for Cyno. I have the same team with Nahida and Yelan as you showed, and I’m super satisfied with this team. I used Zhongli or Kazuha there before, but most of the time I need them on the other team. I also think Nahida + Baizhu is a super strong duo, like Zhongli + Albedo, but for dendro teams.

after 2 and a half years or so waiting for him, I finally have not one but two of him despite not aiming for his constellation at all. his C1 just feels so good and more comfy to use. what can I say, an all rounder dendro support that isn't too busted or too weak. he's perfect.

Got him + got really lucky in pulling Jadefall on a ten pull. He feels super comfy to play (with around 160% ER) and I can finally let go of my Zhongli dependency lol. Using him on my Keqing and Nilou teams, plays really smoothly.

In just under 200 pulls i was able to get c2 Baizhu :') hes my first c2 limited character and im happy with it. Hes going on my Haitham team so i can keep Kuki with Cyno. So happy to have him on my account!

Happy to know with this video that farming deep wood for him was not a waste of time 😅 I worked really hard to give him his 50k with that set and some people made me fear it was not the best option. I’ll keep it though. Getting all those pieces wasn’t easy to begin with.

i feel like baizhu could’ve had a anti-heal secondary effect to his attacks/abilities. A unique passive of some sorts. Lingering ticks of poison/dendro somewhat like nahida’s. Like, he is a healer, therefore low dmg, but a nice increment to his “dmg” output would be welcomed… Maybe that’s changsheng’s doing idk a venomous aspect to the pharmacologist with a snake kit is adequate tbh

i was saving my guaranteed for kazuha, who i heard was getting a rerun on the second phase of the next patch. fortunately and unfortunately, i got baizhu on early pity while pulling for kaveh. now here i am, trying to learn how to build him. on the bright side, since the abyss has been so focused on dendro related reactions since sumeru's release, i'll be able to put him in my second abyss team! my first one has nahida, tighnari, kuki and raiden, and the second one has alhaitham, xingqiu, mona, and now alhaitham (used to be yaoyao).

Pulled for him a minute after they dropped the banner. Got him and Kaveh in my guaranteed. I like him so much because he reminds me so much of my fave Yu Yu Hakusho character, Kurama.

I lost the 50/50 and got my first Qiqi ever, even though I've been playing since 1.1, which feels pretty fitting. Luckily I had enough wishes saved to keep going until I eventually got him though

i am basically running the cyno/xingqiu/nahida team for my baizhu, but instead of cyno because i don't have him i'm running razor! i was actually super excited when dendro came out and made electro kinda nuts because razor has always been one of my favorite characters (i literally gave him my wolfs gravestone over diluc) and i'm sosososo happy to finally find a team i can effectively use him in! :D

I've been waiting about 3 years for this man, and I can say, as someone who built him for Spread, that he's great. Even in a DPS build, he heals a decent amount with the leftover HP stats on my artifacts, and does about 10k with normal attacks at level 8. I haven't tried him as a healer yet because I'm fucking insane, but he's absolutely wonderful to have. Both because I like him and because of his utility.

The video is amazing. The amount of information is formidable and its presentation is efficient. I feel like you could talk closer to your mic, you sound exhausted or out of breath, your voices cracks a little. It's not annoying or anything, but take it easy ^^

another weapon i see ppl talking about is the Oathsworn Eye. giving energy recharge when using elemental skill is pretty good to solve his energy issues. tho the only problem and probably the reason why it wasnt mentioned is because it is an event weapon

It seems it would be pretty fun to use Baizhu with xingqiu/yelan to proc infinite small blooms or using thoma/xiangling to burn enemies constantly

I was really hyped with baizhu since i also have cyno, but it feels like zhongli's better than baizhu... indestructible shield, resistance shred, petrification from burst for rotation safety, etc. I tested my cyno-baizhu hyperbloom damage but zhongli just increases my damage output way better than baizhu. So i kinda regretted pulling for baizhu. (Baizhu passive is good, but zhongli resistance shred is just better. Example: Baizhu passive only increases aggravte cyno which is his n1, n3, n5 and skill damage, and hyperbloom damage. But zhongli resistance shred not only increase all of cyno damage sources (all normal attack hits and skill damage) but also my yelans burst damage, hyperbloom damage, nahida skill damage, etc.) Dont get me wrong the healing is good, but my zhongli has 55k HP and never had any problems with enemy damage. Additional: My baizhu have 49k hp.

Here's my opinion: 1) Deepwood on Baizhu is not good since he has no AOE. (aside from his skill which can hit up to 3 targets, and you would have to constantly swap back to him whenever new enemies spawn to try and hit all of them with your skill). Baizhu is played mostly as an *off field support,* which means you will have to rely on his Q to apply dendro and Reduce the Dendro Res of enemies. Problem is: Q deals damage to one single target at a time... Basically, Baizhu using Deepwood can never guarantee Dendro Res Shred on all the enemies. I think characters like Nahida or even DMC are much better suited to wield Deepwood compared to Baizhu thanks to their great AoE, even if their personal damage would be higher than his on an offensive set. If you can't reduce the Dendro RES of all the enemies, all of the time, then you are not doing more dps anyway, you are losing dps. So *Nahida on Deepwood > Nahida on Gilded + Baizhu on Deepwood.* 2) Also, Tenacity is not good on Baizhu. His skill is a one time activation, and the ToM buff lasts for 3s. That barely even gives you the time to swap to your carry and use your Q. (This may be less important in a Quick swap team with Keqing/Tighnari where you can swap and Q right away, but if you're planning on staying on-field for more than a few seconds just forget about it lol). There isn't really a perfect set for Baizhu atm, so our best options for now are 2pc/2pc combinations (HP%, ER%, Healing%, EM, Etc.) or 4 pc Sets like Noblesse / Instructor / Maiden. I know these aren't super duper amazing either, but at least they will work unconditionally as opposed to Deepwood/ToM.

Ngl, after all these years I’m only disappointed in the fact that the snake isn’t more important to his kit. I was calling him Orochimaru for the longest because I thought the snake would be important. Guys imagine how sick it would be if his ULT made the snake jump off his shoulder and enlarge around to a big Hilichurl size and helped you fight!! We keep getting small animals, would’ve been sick as hell if he went full Orochimaru lol

Zyox, Baizhu's sig only buffs his own elemental damage bonus, not his team's. I'd recommend you note this in your pinned comment or in the video description, because people might feel the need to pull for it, thinking it gives the team some decent advantage instead of being a free weapon's sidegrade. (Prototype Amber also only generates energy for Baizhu btw. The heal is teamwide tho.)

Would it be viable to run Baizhu on an Ayato team with Fischl and Beidou and to equip him with Hakushin Ring or should I switch Beidou for an Anemo support and give him Prototype Amber instead? And should I consider building some EM on him at all on either of these teams? Any sort of feedback is welcome! :)

i feel like because genshin is not a competitive game, there's not really any more character that become a must pull especially in this later stages of the game like 3.3+, like sure his kit is usable but not as much that i would spend my primo to replace my full kitted yao yao as she does kinda slot in the same position as him but just slightly under. and hoyo doesn't even care to make enemies have a much more complex gimmick and difficulty, instead they just buffed the enemies hp which add nothing to the difficulty apart from extending the combat for like 10-15 second that even my 1.4 team is still viable. i dont wanna complain too much, pull whoever you want, but at this point it gets extremely boring with how they release their 5 star to be just "okay"

Wasn't even trying to get him, just trying to get Kaveh but, did a cheeky 10 pull and got him (Baizhu), Candace (whom I didn't have yet) and Kaveh all in that pull. This was TWO pulls into pity after just getting Nilou LMFAO! Best Genshin pull I've ever done (Day 1 player).

Just from his kit Baizhu feels like Dendro - Diona. Okay sure his shield gives a little more bonuses and elemental damage buffs ... But other than that he pretty much feels like a comfy dendro shielder & heal with the upside that he can hold TTDS

I got this guy because i have Alhaitham, but finding out the cooldown is 20 seconds is a bit annoying since how i usually play him allows him 12 seconds on field, making the timings a bit weird, but if i were to switch to his burst - skill - Charged attack every 4 seconds, then that should get Alhaitham closer to 20 seconds on field

On one hand it's cool that I didn't lose the 50/50 but on the other I don't have any characters that fit him and would rather get diluc as a main DPS because I lack one and use Kaeya because of the fast burst recharge I'm sure that in due time he'll be a great addition since it looks like dendro teams are pretty good
