Johnny Winter called Billy Gibbons when he heard this song on the radio and invited the band over to his house for beer & Mexican food. They were young, and this was their first (Texas) hit. A few years later Billy introduced Stevie Ray Vaughan around & gave him guitars trying to help him get started. Lately he’s been playing with Stevie’s brother Jimmie. ZZ TOP is a GREAT band who deserves all success.

Rev. Billy G and the boys puttin down the truth 💯..even just watchin jammin at Daryls house hangin out with Daryl Hall and them guys, dudes are truly humble and honestly just love music wherever it comes from! Frank Beard has been a personal influence of mine shoulder to shoulder with the likes of Bonham and other drum monsters since I was a kid..those that have that unlearnable gift of presence, where you dont even have to hear a full measure of their playing to know EXACTLY who it is playing, same with Billy and Dusty so it's just a band full of uncommon talent. And I love his reaction vids! Like mentioned by someone else it makes me appreciate things all over again! 🎉

You can't go wrong with Top. I recommend It's Only Love off of Tejas. The break is SIIIIICK. As always, this is very important, you must listen to Cosmic Slop by Funkadelic, off of the album Hardcore Jollies. Your mind will be blown! That being said, The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars, by David Bowie. The whole album. THE WHOLE ALBUM.

Consider reacting to Lou Reed "Intro/Sweet Jane" from the Rock n Roll Animal album if you like to hear guitars talk.

Don’t forget David Gilmour and his guitar from Pink Floyd. He makes it talk just like that. Love ZZ Top as well.

That instrument isn't talking, it's singing. "Pearl Necklace" & "Gun Love" are another couple fun ZZ Top songs.
