Johnny Winter called Billy Gibbons when he heard this song on the radio and invited the band over to his house for beer & Mexican food. They were young, and this was their first (Texas) hit. A few years later Billy introduced Stevie Ray Vaughan around & gave him guitars trying to help him get started. Lately he’s been playing with Stevie’s brother Jimmie. ZZ TOP is a GREAT band who deserves all success.

Rev. Billy G and the boys puttin down the truth 💯..even just watchin jammin at Daryls house hangin out with Daryl Hall and them guys, dudes are truly humble and honestly just love music wherever it comes from! Frank Beard has been a personal influence of mine shoulder to shoulder with the likes of Bonham and other drum monsters since I was a kid..those that have that unlearnable gift of presence, where you dont even have to hear a full measure of their playing to know EXACTLY who it is playing, same with Billy and Dusty so it's just a band full of uncommon talent. And I love his reaction vids! Like mentioned by someone else it makes me appreciate things all over again! 🎉

gelsol you took the words right out of my mouth. I was so pissed that they were actually allowed to release that garbage. If you don't have the analog masters as a baseline reference, you wouldn't know how horrific this is! The infancy of digital remastering was a pretty sad time. At least this makes you appreciate the original and realize what an integral part of ZZ Top Frank Beard's drums are.
