"They alone push the dark wall 37km back" This line gets my imagination churning a little bit. Makes me wonder what the full scope is of the destruction in the world. Like is this just a giga hollow known as the dark wall or is it something more all surrounding, only leaving a small slice of land habitable on the planet

hollows don't grow in size after innitally spawning from what I've seen and read thus far it just screws over anyone who enters one, but this dark wall may be an unusual exception to the rules, and as Hoyo established in Star Rail, Rules are made to be broken.

I assumed the dark wall is the circumference of the Hollow Zero, and that the radius of the Hollow Zero used to be 37km (23 miles) longer than it currently is in game.

That loading screen TV was from the videotape "This is How I Am". This Is How I Am (Video Genre) Documentary Lv. 3 (Video Description) This documentary brings together various kinds of audio-visual and textual information from the old civilization to show the world and human life during that period. It was once banned by a company in New Eridu on the grounds it was "showing a beautiful illusion that does not exist and diminishes citizen's safety awareness." It was later reopened after a large number of fans protested. Here is what he says in full: "When I was 15, the thought of an apocalypse never troubled me. The only thing I could give up, even in the face of the world's end, was the sunset on that beach. Watching the sun gently slide into the waters embrace, with fireworks dancing on the canvas of the night sky, even tomorrow or better, it wouldn't be worse than I thought. When you're reading this letter, I imagine much has changed, whether it’s yourself… or the world."

Wonder if anyones noticed this or if it's just my own brain making links where there are none. But the names of the AI, Jinni, Ghost, Youkai, and Fairy. All of these names obviously come from a mythological creature, but something I find interesting is that all of these could be seen as either Mischievous, Dangerous , or even Helpful depending on the myth you base them on. Jinni is probably a Djinn, or Genie. As we're all aware thanks to Aladdin, you can have your helpful Genie, or your evil ones, but trickster Djinn are also mentioned. These primarily come from Arabic culture. Ghost, well we all know what a ghost is! But that also means we all know how varied ghosts can be in interpretation! Youkai, a youkai is a type of monster from japanese mythology, even calling them a monster isn't exactly accurate, nor demon, as they are so varied, to simply call something a youkai is like looking at a spider and saying bug. You're not wrong, but you're not right either. They probably choose this term for the simple fact it has so many types. Fairy. Obviously this is the AI we know the most about considering the games plot, but Fairies come from europeon mythology, and much like Youkai, to simply point at something and call it a Fae or a Fairy is not incorrect, but not entirely correct, as many things count as a type of Fae, and run the gambit of helpful, to mischievous, to outright harmful. Ah well, thanks to anyone who pays attention to my rant, maybe I'm onto something!

** When Thor (PirateSoftware) picked this up briefly, he mentioned that all of them are primarily dangerous folklore monsters, with no "helpful" element. Any beneficial behavior is typically either coincidental or a setup for something harmful down the road (which in-game Fairy's existence seems to imply quite a bit). If it weren't for that, the visions your MC gets when first-time interacting with Fairy should already suggest some bad mojo scheduled to happen down the road, likely as a result of your new contract. It's more than likely that true to the mythological depictions, all these AI are programmed to fulfill an undisclosed purpose while screwing over everything and everyone else to get there.

I was a little worried the worldbuilding would be a little thin but this is setting up so many interesting layers. This has some serious Honkai vibes, especially with the mystery of Hollows and a previous era that fought against the first wave. It even reminds me a little of Made in Abyss with how the Hollow Zones need to be carefully explored and cause risk of a loss of humanity.

Search. Which now we know is the ability to have near 80% access to all information. We can use this as a standard to figure out what the other three can do. Jinni, maybe able to store and process huge amounts of data. Hacking is pretty self explanatory. And corrupting is probably something along the line of controlling. Which is interesting is that Just fairy alone could flip out the entire system. But the mysterious two had clearly all four of them. And somehow threw them in the New Eridu. My wild guess is that these people are on the moon.

Also makes you wonder, if Phaethon already has Fairy (who actually does do a lot of "searching" for the siblings) does that mean they're also going to collect the other three, or are those going to be obtained by other members of the roster? Now these are the designs I'm excited for! And considering the names and statuses of these AIs, I am sure this was all before our acquisition of Fairy. But Youkai did mention Fairy here... is the female voice Fairy? Anyways, they have nailed the aesthetic, and I can't be more thrilled. Just waiting for an Urban Mei... EDIT: After watching it again, I have a speculative theory. These two mysterious individuals are planning something huge, and know more than the average Eridu citizen. The AIs are somewhat connected to the deep voice, and each one of them are specialized for certain tasks: Ghost: Hacking Youkai: Corruption Fairy: Search Jinni: Loading The women's comments signify they hold a very thorough knowledge of Eridu, as well as New Eridu. And from her reaction to the three Void Hunters who pushed back the Black Wall, it seems there's some history between her and them. And the deep voice's query only alludes to the fact that the more active and exploring party is the woman. The deep voice is probably stationary, and the woman uses it. They are biding time for someone to come across the AIs, possibly due to some restrictions. I am sure the cutscene when we calibrate Fairy holds more clues, but anyways. Judging from the Inter-Knots security and tight censorship on information, the power controlling New Eridu is just as strong as them, or probably even stronger. My guess for the future is that we are going to stumble across another AI. And that AI could be Ghost. And when that happens, another Void Hunter will be introduced with a lot of revelations. Oh yes, and the person who "hacked" our HDD and got our main account, is just another party that is interested in this whole Watchmaker's Legacy-esque rat race. And I have a feeling that Professor Arche is our mentor. The person who took us in and probably raised us. Or maybe his successor? We already know we are from the old Eridu, so that couldn't be far fetched. Considering their superior Eous and Bangboo tech, I am sure they have knowledge from the old Eridu. I know I've been yapping for long, but there is this last detail I very much liked. At the start of the access to Inter-Knot, we got a message on Phaethon. It probably is something legendary to have it be honored as such, but what makes it interesting is the symbolism. From the message, it seems Phaethon was a hero and almost divine-like. Us, with Phaethon as our Proxy ID, are probably going to get involved in this big, corporate, not-what-it-looks-like mystery. That would truly be the ressurection of Phaethon.

No, the female voice says "Behave you four and wait for someone to awaken you" when the list containing "Fairy, Youkai, etc" flashes up on the stream. Meaning that the female voice is not one of the four AIs. She is probably the creator of the AIs, or at least connected to their creation.

Phaethon is actually a part of Greek mythology. He was the son of the sun god Helios, who in an attempt to be recognized by his father, was allowed to drive his chariot (the sun). in short, the ride was a total disaster and he was killed by Zeus. the reference to the myth might be why that piece of text mentions the Sun God's Chariot. The fact that Wise and Belle go under the name Phaethon, and the text in this video mentions that while Phaethon failed greatly, he also was very daring, it might be plausible that the two characters may follow a similar path, daring to prove themselves, but at risk of suffering a great failure.

@@islamsalimzhanov4399 potentially, however I think it might be more likely that the "sun god's Chariot," that they reference in this chamber may be Fairy, since Phaethon chose to install the chip that contained her in order to save the Hares. since it's likely Fairy is connected to the Hollows, their origins, and most likely, their fate. Phaeton's control over fairy represents the idea that now he controls the "Sun God's Chariot," a metaphorical tool that, if not wielded properly or with care, can change the world. Thus, Phaethon, as daring as the siblings are, must ride it with care.

FYI The "Sunbringer" at 2:05 is definitely a stylized Kiana expy, it's not just your senses fooling you. Kiana's natural eyes are blue, and her HoV (or Sustainer from Genshin) eyes are yellow with star shapes in the middle, so it tracks that she has 1 blue eye, and 1 yellow with star shapes for pupils. The hair is a bit duller gray than her typical white or off-white depiction in HI3rd, but I really don't think there's any question here based on the eyes.

Zenless Zone Zero is definitely going to have the deep lore and the dark and emotional storytelling I have seen in Hoyoverse games. I’m really looking forward to learning more about the world and characters of Zenless Zone Zero, it is definitely shaping up to be something great like other Hoyoverse games in my opinion. The biggest problem is that they can tell all these dark stories and then implement nothing to the game. Just look at war torn Natlan nation in Genshin, the trailer showed happy bright Sumeru 2.0 and even if they gonna make good war story - the game itself will still be kiddy bright without any reflection of centuries of war and destruction.

Since it seems they fought the Hollows when they were first starting to appear, so that's at least a couple of hundreds of years to a thousand. I gotta grind on WuWa and HSR but I just spent 2 days on ZZZ and only reason I stopped was because my fingers ache lol. Game is fun. Only thing that I could see killing it for me is if I compare it to some of my other games but I don't do that so no problems! It's honestly such an enjoyable game atm.

Idc about all the hate ZZZ is getting. ZZZ has been actually really fun even though I had the lowest bar of expectations ever for the game. Imma let them cook. (Edit: I'm gatekeeping this game lmao. I feel like we should nurture this game with actual care unlike Gi if we want the community & ZZZ team to be healthy. Ngl with the direction of the game, I feel likes it's catering to a more "mature mind" of an audience compared to other Hoyo titles. I’m calling it right now, the reason the protagonists are helping in Hollow Zero is to find the Professor. He founded Helios academy, and Phaethon is the son of Helios in Greek mythology. Phaethon attempted to drive the Sun chariot across the sky, believing he could do it just as well as his father. However, he could not control the horses causing him to first ride too close to Earth, and then too far from Earth. Ultimately, he was struck down by Zeus where he fell into the river Eridanus. The story of Phaethon is a cautionary tale about hubris

This feels weird after getting to I-K 37. It’s intresting to think that there’s a bigger organization that is overlooking all of this, and the fact that they use the giant data-bases like fairy tells me they were probably the people who put all of the programs into mainstream. (Makes me wonder what the others do, being that we haven’t seen any other go online yet.) To add on, they knew about Phaethon, and in the video it says “Here lies Phaethon who is the Sun-god’s chariot fared.” Whatever that means. I believe that’s probably talking about the MCs, but it seems like it was before where there at now. (even tho the surroundings are similar, the transit isn’t here, so this isn’t the video store or sixth street.) My personal, and current theory, is that Phaethon and their parents had some sort of connection to the narrators, and through that, try to defy something, which caused the Hollow corruption and expansion, and either made, or brought them Eous, who wasn’t there’s before, and rather had a master before them. (Which I’m presuming was their parents.) Because of this, The narrators put out a fake commission to the Hares to either lure the former partner’s children, or try lure them back into the work that their parents did. And in doing so, it unlocked fairy, causing the events we see now. (There’s also a high likelihood they put out more “Youkai” like fairy to lure in people who are able to actually do something, and Phaethon finding Fairy was just a coincidence, off of their surprise by her being awakened first.) This is surprisingly deep already, and my own opinion is that the hollow is related to Honkai corruption in HI3, which is also related to stelleron disaster of HSR, especially with ether crystals being similar to the crystal found on Jarilo VI, and the corruption being a mix of Honkai and Stelleron corruption. Very intresting what has been revealed so far in only the first week since launch, and I’m excited to see where this goes.

I think it has less to do with phaethon's parents and more with the fact that Wise and Belle probably attended Helios academy, because in greek myth Phaethon is the child of Helios, and in game you can find a picture of wise and bell at a university together, plus it would be weird for the trailer to mention the academy and not have it be important in some capacity

This game is so amazing that it’s a breath of fresh air. Engaging battles at endgame mode and absolutely love the casual daily life gameplay side. Seeing Ellen in her school uniform like an ordinary person on the street. The tv mode was fun, felt like old school tactical rpg. My only complaint is the lack of Co-Op contents, I would love to play this with my 2 housemates on the highest difficulty mode!

Dan, and the leader of the Falkenhayn Mercenary group - The leader. The one standing front and center - unnamed. Recall that "Miss Pink Elf" in HI3 has a different moniker in JP/CN. It's pink "yousei"-san; Fairy. An AI simulacrum based on a brainscan of a past era's teasing and beautiful hero. Again.

If this is really ZZZ‘s version of „Teyvat Chapter Storyline Preview: Travail“ then I bet we’ll come back here in the future to rewatch! So I guess I’ll just leave a comment for my future self since probably no one else will be reading this :3 My guesses for the story (some inspired from other comments): - There’s a giant hollow on the backside of the moon and we will go there in a few more years - We will collect all the AI‘s like Fairy (maybe one every year like the elements the Traveler collects?) - The government/owners of New Eridu are somehow involved in the creation of the first hollow (so they’re probably evil?) - Fairy and the other AI‘s were originally real people that turned their memories into AI (idk, this is most likely wrong) - Professor Arche could be the missing master of Belle and Wise I can’t think of anything else at the moment, let’s see how well my comment will age OwO These aren’t any super crazy guesses anyways, maybe except the moon one? I don't think Fairy or the other AI's were originally people, the person talking in this video is not Fairy since they use all 4 of the AI's and say "you four behave now" at the end when the AI's go offline. The people talking are likely their creators or from the company that made them. Plausible theories though, I'm really interested in seeing what they do with the moon, considering it's also covered in hollows. I'm also guessing Wise and Belle went to Helios academy, there's a picture of them in school uniforms in the TV room. Depending on the timeline, it is likely they knew Professor Arche.

Honestly, I don't know how, but her voice is somehow remind me of Teemo (PTSD veteran black skin) from League of Legend 🦝 I just can't think of anything else, and this video just make it worst because of how deep and dark this look

@@ethenvt Hoyo just needs to stop with going off on a million tangents when doing their dialogue. I know they can tell a good story, but it's SO DIFFICULT to follow along with so much irrelevant fluff crammed into it. It should be quality over quantity, and I guaranteed A LOT more people would be able to get into the story.

From what we see of her, i imagine the first hero is one of nekomata's elders because the first image of the hero truly looked like her when you see her for the first time and she is disguised and takes nicole by surprise by arriving behind her back and takes her by the neck. The other images were similar too but idk they could just be of the same specie
