Just learned that Patricia passed away on October 1 after fighting breast cancer. So young and talented, and left us so soon. RIP Patricia. Your voice will stay with us to listen to and enjoy forever.

I dreamed about Patricia last night. Her unfortunate premature passing has affected me so much. I was expecting her to become a top opera singer gaining worldwide recognition. I'm sure it would have happened. Nevertheless she was known well enough. Her fans loved her. Life can be so unfair to be deprived of such a beautiful person with such a beautiful voice. I'm devastated.

patricia janeckova's name must not be allowed to be forgotten!! surely someone in the know will write her life story or produce a documentary, put on a stage show or make a film about classical music's brightest ever star, whose life was eclipsed by breast cancer at the age of 25!! i assume cds & dvds of her best songs will become available later this year? a compilation album of say 30 songs voted by her fans would be a nice touch!!!

Patricie nemám slov, zpráva o tom že už nejsi mezi námi, byla jako blesk přímo do srdce. Opravdu jsi byla Anděl který byl seslán, dávat nám radost. A tvůj brzký odchod, je potrestáním za naše hříchy, asi to tak bude, spousta velkých talentů nás opustila brzy. Stále platí úměra čím větší talent tím kratší život.

Dont let music hurt you, just listen and move on, it is simply entertainment without soul, dont give it one......if music brings you to tears, your sence of passion is out of control, and that can give wrong emotions and feelings. Music can wake up memories from your past, that you might not want to remember or maybe a situation that could harm your present life. Music are wonderful yes, but never make it an Idol, it might catch you before you know of it.....and then prove it was never real, just entertainment for the ears.....it is a very sad movie, with a captivating music, but captivated of what?????.and for what......

Very well said. This song isin my view angelic and so emotionel with a sense of innocence and emotionel completeness. Ennio Morricone wrote and composed so many iconic and great songs for different movies. We must also pay tribute to his wife Maria Travia who was a great supporter and protector of his talent and his dedicated work.

This is a great study in how she forms her mouth as she sings, avoiding the harshness which can come from side-stretching. Along with her good breath control, for me it is a stunning and very emotional performance, absolutely perfect. Brava, Patricia.
