How often do you find yourself in a position where the steel tracks become a problem? I have a variety of equipment, but I'm trying to find the "goldilocks" zone of just a few pieces that maximizes my profit. I have 150 excavator that can really take care of business, so I'm waffling on a 953 vs a similar sized wheel loader. The wheel loader will be better for loading trucks, but the 953 better for almost everything else. But then, I have the 150 to do the hard work...

I like a 953 but for brush nothing beats a 973 cat loader in it's weight range.

Nice to see a track loader that doesn't have the wimpy track shoes on it. So many times I would see a guy with a 955 unable to push a tree out that a d5 could easily take out because of the larger grousers.

We have a home development coming up I need to figure whether to get a track loader or bigger dozer.. I think a loader will help me clear strip topsoil load off road dump and do dirt work.. if with dozer I need track hoe to load off road truck and dozer to clean up pile.. thinking a 963 might be worth it.. cause after use of big dozer on job I have no need for one. But track loader I can clear lots and do residential digs as well etc

Do you ever find yourself wishing for the larger 963? I'm looking at both right now, and I've made the mistake of buying too small before.
@abramzimmerman9089
@abramzimmerman9089 Жыл бұрын
Only time I wish for a 963 is while loading trucks all day. Otherwise, not very often. The 963 is a good bit heavier, making transportation more difficult. The 53 is suited great for big small projects, ie,basement digs,clearing brush...

There will never be operater less machines as an operater will be able to stop the machine in the cab plus when the machine is loading truck's when the truck is full the machine operator will sound the machine horn as a lot of machines by law have to have a horn Incase some one is blocking the path that's not the only safety feature that machines need to have by law they also need to have a reverse beep and a forwed beep.
