Love my Green Micro Dagger. I have over 500 rounds so far and not ONE single problem. Not one. Mine is completely stock using PSA 15 rd magazines.

I love these. I have have 4 receivers, solid mount, beltless mount, which I made myself to mimic the one they sell and 2 belt mounts. Pricey? A little. But, after trying multiple clips for appendix carry, this works the best for me. My 2 carries are the Sig P365 and Mossberg MC2C.

Great video. I totally agree with you about the one-handed firing. That is one of my criteria as well. I stay away from the micro 9mm guns because I can't shoot them one-handed when loaded with hotter self defense ammunition

The Glock 43x I had did have a couple of failures. My compact Dagger has about 500 rounds with no issues yet. Just ordered a micro so we'll see how it goes. I got the one with the C-1 slide

I think in a case like this I may have had a short rest/sleep in the car before setting out, especially if close to dark. Also if you were missing for a while and folks are at home waiting for you, I would stick to my usual route home just in case someone came looking for me.

I 100% agree on the having a quality tool AND using it. Lots of people baby their expensive stuff. I have several knives and guns but have no “safe queens” with proper oiling and maintenance of your tools and weapons they can sustain hard use. I buy knives like benchmades FOR hard use. I can feel a hell of a lot better about using them hard with their lifetime warranty

Glock clones that require a breaking in period typically have closer tolerances. With that being said, I, personally, carry a Gen5 Glock 19. I also carry a Shadow Systems MR920 Elite and Bul Armory Axe Hatchet. All three shoot flawlessly.

I'm looking forward to aftermarket scales, the grivory just feels cheap, especially on a $250 knife. I have a griptilian with aftermarket micarta scales and it makes the knife so m much better.

Just a nit pick but it's a Dagger Micro not a Micro Dagger. I've noticed that the Dagger Micro magazine spring is weaker than a stock Glock magazine. You can push down the nose of the follower with ease as the Glock is stiff and the whole follower will move down at once with no dip in the front.
@rangesbackstopsberms1638Ай бұрын
Thank you for the correction. You are right that the actual title of the model is ‘Dagger Micro’. It just seems odd to refer to it that way. Anyhoo, since we are planning on coming back to this model a few more times in the future, we will just reference it as the ‘PSA Micro’. Thanks for the input.
@BlueBeretFirearmsАй бұрын
@@rangesbackstopsberms1638 Yes, I certainly agree that it sounds backwards. It's more natural to say Micro Dagger. Just about every video I've seen referencing this model some says it backwards. Another note, I found that these magazines do not work well with a SCT lower coupled with the Dagger Micro slide. Have you tried this combination?
@rangesbackstopsberms1638Ай бұрын
Have not tried it. To be honest, this is my first foray into Glock clones at any meaningful level. Part of the fun of the channel is not only the display of testing, but the chance to explore a subject along with the viewers. Hope you stick around and keep us honest when we misstate a point. Col. Jeff Cooper once stated that, “Only accurate guns are interesting.” The same can be said about content. Opinions are fine, but facts have to stand on their own! Take care.

great vid with lots of truth about how many rounds are needed for reg people to carry I had to carry a 25 lb duty belt with all kinds of things for 20 yrs and my back is a reck so now it the smallest flash light streamlight micro and a glock 43 or my sw snub in 22 mag and one reload for what ever light weight gun i choose that day because im not running into trouble any more just keeping my wife and myself safe .Let all the youtube keyboard ninjas out there save the world with all the gear that seems to be the flavor of the month right now being a hero and getting into a gun fight is only fun in hollywood but its not much fun in real time believe me so stay out of trouble and go as far away as you can and only fight if there is no other way out stay safe

I went the compact dagger route. Very happy with it. So far I've gotten 1200 rounds through it and it's been solid. But time will tell. I do have a lot of time on my hands so I do clean it quite often... including the rest of my 10 other guns. I really dislike the Glock looks that's the reason why I went with PSA stuff. I always like to check out underdog brands.

One thing for sure is that most all reputable and well-known knife companies, specially Benchmade doesn’t make knives with tips that are made for prying. Knives in general are tools made for cutting and not prying, because you risk breaking the tip, which is something that wouldn’t be covered under any warranty, especially so if you’re using it for something that it isn’t intended for.!!!👌💯💯😱🤯🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🙏🙏🙏🙏

Appreciate this! As a woman I am so thankful I was prepared. During my 1hr commute yesterday morning, traffic backed up in a rural area for over an hour due to flooding. Suddenly I had car issues and had to pull over. Due to the traffic jam it would have taken forever for my husband or a tow truck to get to me. But I mapped a route to the closest business which was a high school, grabbed my small get-home bag and hiked for 10 minutes so that my husband could take back roads to pick me up. ❤ The school happened to be going through a power outage so having my gear like, water, flashlight, battery backup and even a small fan was helpful!

Please give context to this question. Have heard it for years and bought into it for a long time. However, over time I have never seen a valid reason to prepare for this situation: Your vehicle has stopped working, there is an imminent threatening event that you can see about to happen, you have 10-20 seconds to grab a pre-packaged bag and run… Not saying they don’t exist, just have never seen one that I should get ready for. Please provide more info.

I bought this knife for the steel's corrosion resistance, as I'll be using it as my primary fishing knife, the lanyard....mehh. I have a few Benchmade's and love the brand. The one gripe I do have with this line, is the excessively large packaging that comes with these knives. I also thought the "Omega Springs" would have been upgraded to the new style, but oh well, production costs I guess. Overall I like the full-size and the mini as they remind me of the Adamas line of knives.
@stephenswindle3839Ай бұрын
It’s understandable about the omega spring not being the flat upgraded version for better durability, but I agree with the packaging aspect, regardless of the size I think the upgrade in presentation and packaging added considerably to the cost overall in the end to the price point. I think if they would have stuck with the original BM presentation size box other than what it comes in, that it probably would have been at least 10% cheaper than the price point for the line up of water inspired knives for 2024.!!!👌😝😜🤪💯💯💯🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸😱🤯😳
@mattconklin40262 ай бұрын
What materials are the omega springs made of?
@BrandonMeyer16412 ай бұрын
Steel that is inconsistently heat treated. Total crap shoot. You can buy a benchmade and have them break on you in days. Others may never break. Regardless there’s lots of dissimilar metals in these benchmades which makes their intervals more prone to corrosion.
