I would much prefer taper based fixing on spindle than face plate like your solution. All time you need fix runout when installing, of course if your lathe is tapper based spindle equiped... some china made doesnt have taper.
@franciscomurciaprojects2327Ай бұрын
Thanks for commenting, this lathe has a Morse taper, but the fixing plate is made on the end of the spindle which is the same as how the lathe cup will be mounted and it is very precise, of course the adjustment with the taper is also very precise, which I decided to do. with a plate. Thanks my friend

Great idea! I think you can heat treat it and use it to cut steel also.
@franciscomurciaprojects2327Ай бұрын

Many thanks what a great idea, actually did you harden the wheel before you used it, so it would cut better and last longer?
@franciscomurciaprojects2327Ай бұрын
Thank you, since it was intended to be used on a soft material, it was not necessary to harden it, but of course I could harden it before using it on harder materials.

@franciscomurciaprojects23274 ай бұрын
@1tahil4 ай бұрын

Gracias saludos
