Hello! Your videos are a gem for me. In September of this year I will receive a fully equipped edrive20 from the factory. I currently have a latest generation Opel Insignia with adaptive lights and they are wonderful. It is clearly seen how some LEDs turn off and others turn on. In the center it may be off because there is a vehicle but it turns on other LEDs to show the signals that they are to the left, right or up. Other times they border the front car to illuminate the sides. They are very active and bright. Now when I see your video I am worried. The problem has been solved?. I haven't seen anyone report anything about it after so long. Greetings and thanks.

I have the same issue you mention at 1:00. I am 1.85 and 85kg, regular cyclist, and the seat is pinching my leg. Whats really annoying is that its particularly painful in the corners, where the seat is supposed to hold me, but it really doesn't, as I am sitting on the bolsters, not between them as you mentioned it. I have the M-Sport 23i with the perforated sensatec (EU-spec, bought the car in France). It's a shame, all the rest of the car is really great, but being so uncomfortable is a bit difficult to swallow. The dealership only had the X-line to test drive, and I didn't have that issue with those. @Swede365 Did you find any solution? Maybe a pillow to sit a little bit higher?

We don’t know id out car suffers from the LED malfunction you discribe. The car was registered in 05-2023 so Im asking - what is the best way to find out ? Drive during nighttime and do you think I Will know emmidiately? I have nothing to compare with. I Can easily tell the difference in your clip, very clear to me. Mycket bra och noggrann genomgång! Överväger att köpa en RUTX50 men det jag undrar är om den går att låsa till ett visst frekvensband t.ex. 1800 Mhz? Min nuvarande router (används tillsammans med två Poynting riktantenner) envisas med att koppla upp sig mot 2600 Mhz trots att jag får en betydligt snabbare uppkoppling på 1800 Mhz. Egentligen borde jag inte ens få in 2600 här med 9 km till masten men riktantennerna är så pass effektiva. Går ej att låsa frekvensband på min nuvarande router.

Jag har monterat in samma utrustning som du visar. Fungerar bra på simkort, men jag står nu på en camping med Wi-Fi, jag har lyckats få den att koppla in sig på campingens Wi-Fi nät med den skickar inte den vidare. Har du lyckats få ordning på den funktionen?

We visited Lofoten in September 2023 in our Burstner, and then up to Nordkapp. We revisited in May 2024 and went to Senja. It was still very cold with occasional snow. This time in our new Hymer B680 and the Alde heating was superb as it needed to be. Your photos and videos remind me how lovely it is in Norway and we can’t wait to return later this year.

Thanks for the video! I agree with all the annoying features! My x1 (older model) backseats also don’t go back to the original position when you lift them up, instead, you have to pull on the strap and push the chairs back in position!😢 I thought the Trunk latch came with the car but was later told that’s only available in X3😮. This feature should be on all base models! Hope BMW sees this video and improves the features!

Ho un BMW x1 25e plugin xdrive questo inverno i fari led oltre ad appanarsi in montagna al passo del tonale si sono formati cristalli di ghiaccio. Portata in BMW concessionaria hanno detto che il responsabile garanzie gli ha detto di bagnare i fari led e non riscontrando niente pero il capo officina alla riconsega gli ho fatto notare il fanale posteriore dx era tutto appannato . l'accetatore me la riconsegata e fatto pagare 80 euro per il ritiro.. HO FOTO E FILMATI consegnati non so se li hanno visionati i responsabili GARANZIA.. Ricordo che la macchina BMW x1 25e plugin xdrive e nuova di giugno 2023 ho riscontrato il problema siccome la macchina è in garage al coperto con solo 5600 km .. non penso che il produttori in Germania abbiano montato dei pezzi scadenti .. siccome ogno faro costa circa 2400 euro l'uno e la macchina l'ho pagata 58000 Mila euro... Se qualcuno a notato lo stesso problema ho sono dei casi rari mi scriva .. Ringrazio mille

Hello Per, I know you’ve moved on vehicle wise, but I got my iX1 in Oct’23 and just realised my adaptive lights simply do not work, and your videos have been an immense help to me in diagnosis and getting a fix, which hopefully will be done this week.

On parking assist, does the car also break automatically?

I have the petrol version. You can say, ‘hey BMW turn up heating, or turn on air conditioning.’ The entire system is voice activated. Safer than using the screen.

I agree with the comments.. of exterior.. BMWs best looking SUV. IX3 does not make sense and the IX makes me puke.. and IX2 is just weird..

I’m almost ready to order my BMW IX1 edrive20. But I’m confused about the driving assistant options. At this point I understood that I will need the driving assistant and assistant plus to have all the options I need/want. But there is also the driving assistant professional option. Can you explain the difference? I read the brochure ten times but the terms and wording are a little confusing to me. Only if needed I will spent the extra amount of money. For example the auto lane change is an option that is not important for me to have. Is pro needed for handsfree driving? I hope you are able too explain this to me. Thank you in advance.

I love the iX1 shape and build quality, but the efficiency figures are so bad :/ in tesla you have 16.5kwh/100km, also the battery is bigger, so we are talking of about 150km more... also the 180km/h top speed is just too low... unfortunately, the difference is abysmal
