Deby as always you are simply best with examples as well as explanation. Regarding Filter can you provide tutorial where we have multiple columns in Main data. But we need only specific columns data extracted using Filter formula. e.g - we have 10 column of data, but we need random, non-consecutive 5 or 7 column data only.

Hello Deb. A question on the Define names` tab please. It is in reference to the video at 33-35 min. I was trialling the formula (max) both in the cell dedicated out also randomly chosen one. I ensured I used your spreadsheet (eternal gratitude for sharing that :) ). I6 gives exactly what it should. I8 and for fun also L9 randomly selected cells will then give the result of 9400.6 after running the MAX function. The only difference I could spot is I6 is customed whereas the randomly chosen ones are "general". Any explanation on that? If anyone could reflect on it that would be great :)

Maybe I missed it but it should be known that (that I know of) the sum range is limited to only one column. For instance, there are two columns in two categories but you want to sum the total amount for both categories based on different but relative criteria. I could not get the formula to work until I tried using only one category. If I missed this I apologize.

At around the 1:24.00 mark you talk about how to convert data that is stored as 'text' but didn't convert when you cleaned the row and made the row a currency row. Is there a way to check the entire sheet (like you did with blanks)? What if I have a data sheet with 100,000 rows, I could spend hours looking for these numbers over on the left side of the column - and may never find them, or find them all.

Is there a way to bring every item that is searched to where it pops up to the top? I search "wheel" in my spreadsheet and it shows my results highlighted but it dont bring them to the top
