No it’s not, any ifc or pride champions who’s main martial arts base was judo? I can think of one, Ronda rousey. Now do the same test and see how many pride and ufc champs had a base in wrestling. Stats don’t lie opinions do.

Judo is superior but the only time that judo is even applicable vs a wrestler is when the dude doing judo knows some wrestling 😂

@@williamgoode1454 Islam Makachev uses judo all the time. Khabib speaks super highly of judo. Karo Parisyan was a great judoka who did well in the UFC. Fedor (arguably the greatest MMA heavyweight of all time) was mainly a judoka. Most high levels judokas have 0 incentive to ever transition to MMA. That doesn’t mean 1 is better than the other. Really it boils down to how the other person uses it
