*Attention* everyone watching this video: GTA3 was ported from PS2 to Windows in the same horrible way as most rockstar games, so it has several problems with optimizations. The game's original requirement was 8MB of VRAM, but this was not possible thanks to the poor work of Rockstar, who had to increase the requirement to 12MB. But I spent a few years testing the game on weak laptops, and with experience, I ended up discovering and fixing these performance problems, I released a patch that can be downloaded on github, just copy the files to the game folder, and use IMG tool to replace the files in the gta3.img file. My patch allows the game to run on Pentium 2 300mhz, 8mb ram, and 160mb ram, with an install size of approx. 500mb.

I just got this game and have finished the campaign (5stars on all tracks and all horse rewards claimed) plus all the tournaments, I'm curious if you've managed to unlock all the different horses/coats? The game tells you to unlock more horses by winning tournaments and I've won all the different tiers on all difficulties multiple times yet I'm no longer getting any rewards from them and am still missing several horses/coats and mane dyes, any advice is welcome <3

Hi, yes, you have to play the multiplayer (split screen) parts too, that will unlock the remaining items. It's kinda annoying that it forces you to play all the modes. It makes you grind the game for the last items. 😞

@@kiemarii That's the way to go. 😄 You can also, if possible, to lock it for the horse to go forward. I think all horses must pass the finish line so that the race ends.

I just adore horses! I have always been an equestrian since toddler age and have rode a few irl! Horses are just so fun and i have all horse games on the switch! They are so beautiful to look at too!

It's a capture card issue. The game looks normal when playing, but the capture card adds a brightness that makes the footage a little bit green.

It's good the game performs better on your laptop. The recording doesn't affect the framerate; we've used a separate PC to record the game footage.

The best screen capture software is one that doesn't uses the CPU for recording. We had to use an external capture card to capture the gameplay, so that the framerate didn't drop.
