I had McDonald's in Costa Rica a few years ago. Mostly tasted the same, but they didn't have good lettuce. They also had a special Costa Rican version of the Big Mac, which I didn't try.

They say that in different countries and different cities the taste of McDonald's is different..... somewhere it is a decent meal and somewhere it is impossible to eat. I wonder if this is true? Can anyone confirm or deny it?
