Dispensationalists did a great job with doctrine, but apparently not with soul-winning and training up new generations. Though there are some independent baptists that are dispensational who carry on the legacy. Pensacola Christian College and Faith Baptist College in IA are both dispensational in their seminaries.

Hello Dr. Congdon, my name is Ronald, I've sending this question to many theologians I watched in youtube, but only one of those is actually answered me (but I wasn't satisfied) So may be you can answer this question. (I'm happy to see your channel, where you answer questions) Now my question is about the Millennial reign of Christ. It said there that the lifespan of the people "who would be allowed to enter" will have a prolong life. So my question is: 1. After the 1,000 years (when Satan and all who followed him were destroyed) what about the people who become obedient to the Lord and King Jesus during those years. Are all of them reached 1,000 years old? if not all of them, then my follow up question is: are they be resurrected to face the White Throne Judgment to be judge? 2. Is the White Throne Judgment (Rev. 20:12-15) can be refer to John 5:28-29 also? since there will be "Books will be open) and their works will be judge whether good or evil. Thank you for answering Dr. Congdon (I hope to read from you soon) Posted date: March 5, 2024

Jewish years are not 360 days. They are 354 or 384 days. You lost credibility at that point

If you note, I said the biblical year is 360 days, you can derive this by a careful study of several passages where the Lord allows you to calculate the year.
@rbublitz3322

@@CMI-TV Neither are "biblical years" 360 days. That is uninformed people doing simple math. The dates given in Ezekiel when studied show an intercalated year of 384 days. The dates given in the Gospels prove an intercalated year during the time of the crucifixion which shows the date was April 25, 31 AD. The dates given in Revelation work out to proper Jewish years of 354 days.

You keep doing what you are doing, sticking with preaching the unadulterated word of God. 2 Timothy 4:2-5 kjv 2. Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. 3. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; 4. And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. 5. But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.

Start with 70 A.D. and take Hosea 6:2, 2 Peter 3:8, and Revelation 20:6 for an approximation of the 2nd coming (2070 A.D.). Then take 2070 A.D. and subtract Daniel's 70th week (7 years) for an approximation of the Rapture (2063 A.D.) God bless!! 🙂

I admire John Calvin but I’m certainly not a Calvinist. Right at the beginning of this video, however, I realized I was opposed to the implication that Calvinists don’t interpret the Bible literally. The answer should, instead, include the observation that differences in interpretation are the result of some people interpreting some Bible passages literally and other people interpreting other passages literally. I prefer to interpret the Bible literally but I’ve been trying to do that since 1958 and I still haven’t found a way to interpret EVERY Bible passage literally. It is a display of spiritual pride to imply that you are interpreting the Bible literally and that anyone who disagrees with your interpretation is not. (I took an algebra class in the early ‘60s. My teacher’s answer to the math equation would have been 16.) If it were a choice between operating on the premise that God directed the biblical writers’ choice of words, phrases and grammatical construction vs. operating on the premise that the Bible is merely a collection of highly-prized ancient writings, the former mistake would be “better” than the latter. The first premise, however, literally paints the Bible student into a corner in the sense of requiring that some passages be interpreted the opposite of a “plain reading” of those passages. One premise for interpreting the Bible avoids the problems of the two alternatives mentioned above - When a passage begins with, “Thus saith the Lord”, we can make assumptions about the wording being chosen by the creator; Otherwise the Lord may have impressed the writer to NOT use a word or phrase that would be likely to give a wrong impression but the the writer chose the words to express the IDEAS with which he was inspired. (Word-for-word assumptions become even more problematic when reading or studying Bible passages in any other language[s] than the original Hebrew, Aramaic or Greek.) The implication that only Calvinists are reformed deserves to be challenged. The implication that only dispensationalists are biblicists deserves to be challenged. Is there any more reason to interpret the Bible by Dr. Milton Terry’s rules of hermeneutics than to interpret the Bible by the methods employed by other scholars? Dr. Terry lived from 1840 to 1914. Dispensationalism was virtually unknown in the United States until after the War Between the States and didn’t become popular until the twentieth century. The preference for interpreting most of the Bible allegorically is also a relatively recent development. By the sixteenth century, however (i.e. before Dr. Terry was even born), at least three other methods of Bible interpretation had been identified. There are a variety of “Bible study helps” available on the market today - and have been since before I was born. It is a mistake to give absolute credence to any of them. Let’s take the concept of “context” for example. Almost all of the people who heard Jesus speak while he was on Earth were well acquainted with the Hebrew Bible - but as interpreted by the chief priests and scribes. He wanted them to understand what he said in the context of “Moses and all the prophets”. (Luke 24:27) I applaud the trend among Christians in the United States to pay more attention to the Hebrew Bible but, in the 1950s, very few Christians in the United States had anything resembling a working knowledge of the older books of the Bible. Many of what are widely considered “Christian traditions” were developed by people who ignored the Hebrew Bible completely or who interpreted the Hebrew Bible by what they had been taught about the “meaning” of the Gospels and the Epistles. (I call it “reading the Bible backward”.) The reference to Nehemiah as being written at “a significant time in Israel’s history” fails to distinguish between Israel and Judah. Two thousand years ago, there was a young itinerant rabbi who had no formal education and who preached about a kingdom “not of this world”. Because his message was antithetical to the biblical interpretation of men who had doctors’ degrees in theology (or the equivalent), most of the peasants who heard Jesus preach chose to reject him in favor of the method of interpretation that anticipated a political messiah. How is it today? Do the majority of professed Christians anticipate a political messiah? Will the final false messiah deceive everyone whose methods of Bible interpretation anticipates a political messiah. If you’d like to know what will happen when Jesus breaks through the blue to resurrect the people who have died in faith and to take living believers with them to the mansions he has gone to prepare, Read Revelation 6:14-17. - Literally.

Records from Asyria dating back to Ezekiel's day show that Magog was in ASIA MINOR, modern Turkey. Older copies of Josephus show that the monks who translated Josephus twisted a comment that said SOME people in a certain area called the people of Magog by a name similar to ''scythian" but that they were from what is now modern Turkey. The "Uttermost north" was used to describe Togarmah, which is proven to be in Asia Minor.

Hi Rob, You said around minute 42 that on Pentecost “there were about 3000 newly saved souls”, but Acts 2: 41 says” Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.” The Church started when the apostles and possibly other disciples were filled with the Holy Ghost (Acts 2:1-4). The 3,000 who responded to Peter’s message were added to them. Like the apostles, these were probably already saved Jews and proselytes who needed to be updated to enter the Church. In Acts 2: 5 be the Bible says “And there were dwelling at Jerusalem Jews, devout men, out of every nation under heaven.” Also the Feast of Weeks was a hag feast, and all Jewish men were required to go to Jerusalem. It seems quite possible that many of them already believed God and were saved in the OT sense. Most unsaved Jews probably would not have made the long trip to Jerusalem for the feasts. They would have been like the disciples of John in Acts 19. Paul said they had already believed; but when Paul updated them about Christ’s death and resurrection, they were filled with the Spirit and spoke in tongues. They had become OT saints by believing God (Ge 15:6 ) but became NT believers when they were” begotten .. again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead” (1Pet 1:3), Until that point they had been OT (Old Testament) saints in NT (New Testament) times. 1Jo 4:9b says “that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.” This, like many other verses that life comes through faith in Jesus Christ. Your teaching on atonement vs. reconciliation confirms my view that regeneration requires the shed blood of Christ to wash away our sins. Covering over sins with the blood of animals cannot give a believer eternal life. Since OT believers’ sins could not be washed away until Christ had shed His blood, they were still in their sin which still separated them from God (spiritually dead). They believed in God but needed to believe in the finished work of Jesus Christ so their sins could be washed away. Would you agree with this, otherwise why? THANK YOU, JOHN LAHAN

God made a new covenant, and that is for all people, He's not going to back track and make j3ws an exception. Refer to Jesus's parable about the wedding feast. They reject Jesus, so God invites the poor, and people who were not originally invited to the feast. Darby/scoffield doctrine is demonic and devised to deceive Christians into supporting zionism

Jesus is still ALL GOD and Man. Yes, your point is correct based on the scriptures. Jesus Christ is the creator of angels, but at the same time and because of God's infinite love Jesus Christ took on the nature of a lowly human, so that he could redeem us and reconcile us back to God. It really makes you appreciate these wonderful verses: John 3:16 kjv “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” 2 Corinthians 5:19 kjv “To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.”
