My grandad was Harry Deeley who I believe was a glass blower, anyone remember him? He lived in Spon Lane, Walsall Street and Beeches Road over the years.

What a brilliant place.. I must of been 17yrs old when it opened and it was definitely the place to be. Always seen someone who you knew. Many Friday nights / Saturday mornings when The Old Post Office closed we'd all catch taxi to Birmingham to a venue called Wobble in the Jewellery Quarter where we'd dance until the early hours of Saturday / Sunday morning.. followed by Dusk Till Dawn or West End Bar or back to the the Bizarre Café (Newton Road) for a dirty fry-up.. #goodolddays 😥🥰 Just a few name drops (sorry if I've not mentioned you); * Manageress - Maxime * DJ - Damon * Barman - S.K. * Head Barman - Manny * Doormen - Shane, Fred, Herbie and many more.. * Susan, Francesca, Sarah, Dee and many more..
