One of the best music ques on Supernatural was Queensryche's Silent Lucidity on the episode Heart. Fuck that was heavy. It struck me as a sort of coming of age for Sam Winchester. The song along with the superb acting of Jared gave us the story of no matter what sometimes you have to do the hardest thing imaginable and having to end something that for the briefest moment you felt truly alive and life had meaning and purpose. Sam popped his cherry as a hunter in that moment. Jensen gave just as a powerful performance by being the big brother who loves and protects his younger sibling and would give anything to take the responsibility from Sam so Sam wouldnt have to do the most painful thing in that moment he would ever do, but knowing and being crushed by stepping back so Sam could become a man.

WOW I am assuming that the lady to the left of the camera was not aware that you were filming because we all got see her outrageously long nails in front of Jared's face most of the time. If she had just used her left hand it would not have been an issue.

I may be in the minority here, but I hate the dating advice. 😅 First of all, everyone simply assumes the son to be straight and it's annoying. You can see J2 being uncomfortable, then immediately popping into "professional dad mode" - what they say is learned and rehearsed, always trying to project that ideal image, making it all so disconnected emotionally. I also think the "building your reputation" thing is nonsense. How are you going to be yourself, if you always worry about what your date is gonna say about you to the next person? This is also incorrect, because you never ever want to listen to what someone else's experience was with a partner - if the match is not right, that person could act very differently (due to misunderstanding, loneliness and so on). I absolutely hate this advice, to watch from the outside for confirmation of anything... only you can determine the truth in the end. Last but not least: dating is not for everyone. This pressure to "date around" and have some kind of love interest at this age is more societal bullcr*p trying to prove your masculinity or femininity. But we are all here - obviously - because of these two guys having an unusually close friendship, regardless of how we might define it - I don't understand why that isn't advice in itself. Just hang out with whoever makes you HAPPY and has your back, look for that soul mate or brother or how you want to call them. J2 wanted children and that's where they're coming from. It doesn't have to be your thing.

The effect and fandom of Supernatural is really incredible. It's been 4 years since the show has concluded but the fans are still alive and keep on growing. I was hesitant at first to watch the show back in 2021 because 15 seasons is sure gonna be a long watching session and a heck of catching up. Thought I won't make it but for some reason I've decided to watch the first episode in February 2024 and next thing I know I'm binge-watching it and finished in April 2024. One of the best decisions I made. Happy to be a new member of the SPN fam.
