It's criminal that they didn't save part of the ground and turn it into a visiting centre for the history of the Baseball Ground for future generations.

Peter taylor never got enough coverage,to say he was under rated is a under statement, not a fan of clough, but definetly a fan of that great forest side.

not a forest fan or even english, but i've always liked pearce, he was an honest pro, fearless and hard working with the heart of a lion, for so called fans to give him the abuse he got becaused he missed a penalty was terrible, it takes guts to step up there and take a pen infront of 60 000 fans, i can imagine the space between the posts would shrink the closer you walk towards the goal? none of us could do it, our arses would collapse, phsyco is a bigger man than any of us 🏴🇬🇧

Don Revy was ahead of his time in the most negative of ways. He is like most managers of today. He was happy to dump Leeds for his own personal gains but he also clearly didn’t want to see anyone do better than him at the club he dumped. His comment “you can’t do better” shows how ignorant and selfish he was. If he didn’t believe anyone could do better than him then in reality he was happy to see Leeds doomed in order to convince himself he was the messiah of Leeds. At least he was red hot at England. Should have stuck at Leeds big boy!!! 😂😂😂

He’s still a legend despite how he left and managing spurs. That 89 title win was the greatest moment in our history. He transformed a very average Arsenal into a formidable team and a title winning force. He also won our only European cup something Wenger couldn’t do. The defence he built was the foundation for Wenger’s success. The 90/91 team were also one game away from being invincibles.

The book, serialised by the Guardian today and tomorrow, reveals there had been at least eight other fires at business premises either owned by, or connected to, Stafford Heginbotham, Bradford’s then-chairman, in the previous 18 years, resulting in huge insurance claims. Fletcher does not make any direct allegations but he does believe Heginbotham’s history with fires, resulting in payouts of around £27m in today’s terms, warranted further investigation. “Could any man really be as unlucky as Heginbotham had been?” he asks.

All i know is Leeds utd and the whole of England mocked Rangers and said back in the first ever Champions League that they would make light work of us. Such a great side but not as great as Rangers back then. Who were one goal away from a CL final. Marseille cheated that year which is disgusting but we also beat Leeds home and away. Sorry Leeds fans 😂
