Yeah that one looks really rough but those things are badass man. I always wonder when I always seen them around in people's backyards, but I never got a chance to personally own one and drive one, but I know it's basically just a go-kart/ little ATV thing. I can imagine how fun that could be trying to cross up some water or going through the woods on that thing. Those things are so awesome and nowadays there's so much aftermarket parts for go-karts golf carts and other ATVs quads. You could probably pimp that out to the fullest. Not saying that it's going to worth a million dollars but it's definitely going to look like a million dollars but you might have 2 million in it 😅 lol

lol. I dont know about the 2.5l and 3.0l Rangers, but mine (with the 4.0 engine) goes up hills NO PROBLEM. At least when the Overdrive is off. lol. I pull a 1 ton trailer quite regularly that we fill FULL of logs, scrap metal, etc, and the trusty ranger goes up hills just fine. It does have enough torque for all of my needs, but it is DEFINITELY lacking horsepower. lol For that reason, and for other reasons that im sure you can understand, I plan on 302 v8 swapping my truck this winter.

Mazda and Ford collaborate to make MANY of their products. Take for instance the Ford Escape and the Mazda Tribute, the Mazda6 and the fusion, and of course the Ranger and the B-series. While you are right about both the Ranger and B-series sharing the same engine and trans, the 4.0 and 5-speed transmissions is actually from Ford.

@@a.m.bgarage.everydayprojec9665 Any truck with proper car should last a long time. I still see Isuzu and Mitsu trucks running around with like 300-400k on them and you don't hardly ever see those around. I've noticed Ford owners usually tend to keep better care of their vehicles than Dodge and Chevrolet owners, not sure if that's related to how many Ford's got turned into government vehicles or not lol. That being said, if I had to choose the engine in mine, I'd probably choose a different engine than the 4.0 the timing chain in the rear and other factors of it kind of scare me😊

I needed to do work to the engine (timing chain and a few other things) and the frame so I would have the engine engine out anyway. lol. I still have a lot of info and parts to gather, but its on my to do list. Ill definitely go with a carbureted engine (out of a 70's or 80's F150 or something) just cause simplicity is key and they have MUCH more aftermarket support.

Are you kidding? I was expecting a video where they were actually put on a motorized bike, before and after results. But, nope just you slamming them and blackberry, who I don’t buy from. I have put boost bottles on 3 motorized bikes. They smooth out idling plus the entire rev range. Not to mention the better mileage. Do your videos but get out and do your research to back up what you say.
@a.m.bgarage.everydayprojec9665
@a.m.bgarage.everydayprojec9665 2 күн бұрын
lol. I have tried a boost bottle. I speak from my personal experience as well as many other's. Boost bottles effectively increase the intake volume. Sure, there might be some benefits, but if you ACTUALLY know ANYTHING about engines and especially how to tune a carburetor, you will know for FACT that a boost bottle is nothing but swamp gas for a motorized bike application. JUST like a longer intake, THE ONLY TIME a boost bottle will impact performance for the better (IN ANY WAY) is if your carburetor is out of tune. The soul purpose of a boost bottle was to reduce the INSANE AMOUNTS of intake pulsations within the intake, making the throttle response go wacky in the higher RPMs (we're talking about 8k RPM or so). However, on the application of a motorized bike that does NOT have those issues, a simple tune of the carburetor will make a bigger difference in terms of performance. The MAIN FLAW that I see with the boost bottles on motorized bikes is that, firstly, they were designed for a very specific use. But as we know, these chinadolls do not perform in the same way a YZ80 or YZ250 performs and do not present the design issues that needed to be compensated by the boost bottle. We can also see that the boost bottle size and all-round design is according to the amount of air-fuel mixture being sucked into the engine and the RPM speed affected. However, for a motorized bike, they are using the EXACT SAME design from a YZ80 on a motorized bike. Now, even though its not too much of a displacement discrepancy, considering even the 70's YZ80s suck in about 6x the amount of fuel and spin DOUBLE as fast as the chinadolls. So, while the boost bottle on the YZ80 might actually do something, the only thing the same design will do on a motorized bike is create air leaks and increase the intake volume (NEGATIVELY affects throttle response and idle, unless your carburetor was originally out of tune. lol). I could go wrong, but that is my rant.

Just had a goofy idea 💡 for a motorized bicycle made for a lumberjack with no drivers license. Make a bicycle 🚲 frame where a large 100+cc chainsaw could quickly mount & dismount, using latches or 🔩 and a holder for the chainsaw bar...Run the rear wheel sprocket off an old saw chain that has the cutting teeth ground down. When the lumberjack gets to work. He quickly unmounts his chainsaw, puts the neck on & different cutting chain. After work, he puts his trusty chainsaw back into the bicycle 🚲 frame and rides to the bar, on his way home from work.
