I hope you have a great trip next summer. Thanks for the comment. Distance and time were critical when we planned the walk, so I thought that it might be useful. I'm glad that you like it.

Awesome video! Just out of curiosity, which time of the year did you do your hike?

Good video, congratulations to your certification! Did you forward your luggages to the Ryokan? Which service company 2did you use? Thanks.

Thanks. We used the luggage transfer service, which was booked via the tourism bureau as part of the option on top of the accommodation. The link is in the description of the video.

Thanks for sharing your adventure. How do you get water along the trail?

We were spoilt by vending machines on the first day but only one at Hosshinmon Oji bus stop on the second day (Chikatsuyu to Hongu). It is different compare to Camino de Santiago where you have plenty of access to water. I carried a 650m bottle and ran out on my first 10km.

where did u put ur luggage assuming ur only taking a day pack
@twoeighties
@twoeighties 6 ай бұрын
Yes, we only carry the day pack. The official tourism bureau can provide a luggage shuttle service to the next guesthouse / hotel as part of the package, which will sync to hotels they booked for you. We also have another luggage transfer at the airport to the hotel in Osaka after the trip.

You seem to have had an amazing trip. Congratulations on the Dual Pilgrim - we did the Camino de Santiago several years ago (continuing to Cape Finisterre). I would like to do the Kumano Todo - just have to persuade The Boss 😄. Great series. Thank you.🙇‍♂

Thank you, I'm glad to hear that you enjoyed the series. This might help to convince your boss to agree with you 😄. You have done half of the work already. Kumano Kodo is quite different, but I enjoyed both trips.
