I don’t tend to use this one as much as the rechargeable (with in built battery) one. But have only changed the batteries a couple times.

Ok. Allready bought the built in battery one😊 plus olantern mini or whats that camping model called... somewhat regret not buying this one for myself also, especially cause it was 35€ for long time and now they are not selling it anymore in my country. It would have been really reliable and would have outlived the built in battery models.

I haven’t set it up as a stand alone router (but understand it can be with the correct settings) but still have the (or had the sky router set up as the modem but now switched provider to NOW but still have set up as sky was) the sky router as the modem only (Wi-Fi turned off) and then the hub main unit connected via LAN cable to the router/modem. To date have had no issues 🤞🏻

I didn’t (or haven’t as yet) have any issues with this (so far 🤞🏻). I can’t remember if there are any specific settings on the sky router login or it just managed it between the 2 or if when just turning off the wifi on the sky router it manages it that way. I don’t have that specific router any more do not able to check anymore either, sorry. But on my new NOW hub I just turned off the wifi and connected the mesh hub and all ok 🤞🏻.

Hi. This version doesn’t have a native Sat Nav and as far as I am aware you can’t directly upload any maps. To use navigation in the car/system you need to use your phone via Apple Car Play. ( sorry I can’t remember if this is also is comparable with Android Auto without going back and seeing if I mentioned there any of the videos - unfortunately I also don’t have the car anymore either so can’t check). I also have 2 of the rechargeable ones as well. One that I do use daily, it’s run time is fantastic and I very rarely need to charge it. I really love it and the powerbank feature is great. The reason the lite is also great is once the rechargeable batteries batteries finally give up in the O2pro I will still have a decent lantern and can and do use rechargeable AA’s. I also use this lantern regularly as well but do have to recharge/replace the batteries more often.

Well if you have paid any attention of what is happening in the world today, you may draw conclusions that if the worst shit happens you might not allways have a power grid where you can just draw electricity out. And if that happens, then stuff that runs with standard aaa/aa batteries will still work as long as you have batteries for them.

I also have a solar panel I can set up to charge devices /batteries and run small appliances if needed.

I had to log into the sky router menu and on one of the pages there is an option to turn off the wifi (think will need to be done for both 2.4 & 5ghz). This can be done either over the Wi-Fi (via phone, tablet or computer) or even directly connected, but to turn this setting back on you need to be directly connected via cable to the router. Only fake plants were the water lilies ( which the kids chose and wanted + also helps the frogs get out) and the fence hedge panels which help blend out the fence. All the rest of the plants are real life planted plants.

Thanks for the comment. Sounds like you have a great collection of standard and custom classics and some good plans to create a couple more. I would love to be able to get the full set of the 2020 and 2021’s but alas not all are available but I have the 3 from the 20 set that I really like. I can’t think off hand right now which one it was but there was a 4th I really liked but isn’t available that I can find. And living in the UK eBay sh![$ it’s self at the mere mention of something sharp, which is really annoying as know in other parts of the world that you can get some really good deals on SAK’s from eBay. Hopefully looking to get a couple from the 21 set at some point. Was also disappointed to see that there are no 2022 SE releases apart from the alox which there are a couple I like and may consider but agree they are too over priced.

@@randomupload6550 First my commiserations on you being marooned in forlorn Albion, I am a native Londoner long ago relocated to Tel Aviv Israel where there are no restrictions on knife carry , not on blade size or locking method & nobody bats an eyelid if I take out a 111mm ( 3.3" blade ) slide lock Picknicker SAK or 4" bladed Flipper knife & cut some string, open an Ebay package or slice an apple ( and by virtue of my IDF combat service I can carry a licensed firearm but don't currently own one ) . Was the 2020 LE Classic model that you liked possibly the one with the skier on? That one & the Gone Fishing ones are IMO the most attractive of the 2020 bunch. The 4 Alox models I bought on sale are the Sweet Berry Red, the Wet Sand, the Electric Lavender & the Wild Jungle which to me looks bluie-green. I also wanted the Minty Mint but its out of stock . When I was a kid growing up in London I always had a 58mm classic as my keychain knife & a larger bladed knife such as the 84mm Bantam ( still got a 43 year old one in my collection ) or as I got older a large Buck 110 3 3/4" locking blade knife or a similar but larger Spanish made clone of the Buck 110 with a 4 1/4 " blade. Of course in those days the UK was not in the EU & there was no knife carrying restrictions, a friend even had a flick knife, and there were no 3rd world migrant gangs murdering & robbing on the streets . Nowadays my default keychain knife is the 58mm Midnite Manager & I always carry a larger knife on a rotational basis ranging from 91mm Climbers & Huntsman, 93mm Pioneer X's & Farmer X, to 111mm Saks like the Picknicker, Garant & Rucksack & various 3" to 4 " bladed Flipper knives, all being legal carry with no Mr. Plod asking you why you are carrying a knife, pepper spray, electric shocker or a meat cleaver ( just joking there )
