Hint for others ( 7:00-7:20)..... adding wire length to the CT's ( current transformers....the "doughnut")....is typically not a problem, just use same gauge or thicker wire. CT's work by measuring current such that any (very small) voltage drop affect by adding CT wires is of very little influence...... go for it.

Here's a loading tip that may make the process a bit easier. Load each round only partway through the loading gate, then use each succeeding round to seat the previous round in the magazine tube. This way only the last round will have to be forced all the way in with finger pressure.
@58Alpha
@58Alpha 4 күн бұрын
Ya I noticed that from time to time.
@Paladin1873
@Paladin1873 5 күн бұрын
I suspect either your magazine tube or your end cap may be machined out of spec. A 0.490" diameter major thread will fit securely into a corresponding hole with a 0.422" minor diameter. This is assuming 16 threads per inch and a 60 degree sharp Vee thread. Your rifle appears to have some sort of rounded metric knuckle thread which may have been cut shallower, but I can't see how the manufacturer expects an end cap with a 0.490" male major thread to secure itself to the 0.480" female minor thread of the magazine tube, regardless of how it is shaped. The difference in diameter is only 0.01" and provides too little bite.

I hand load with those "blue bullets" when i have time and can vouch that they are more consistent in size and weight than most of the jacketed ones are, and that they dont foul at all. NCS also chamber checks (probably case gauge) every last round after they load it. Go halfs on a half case with a buddy and see how yall like it. @@58Alpha i mean, i give up 8 random rounds so they can chrono and i've never had to worry about it. I think people just use the certified ammo because its easy...but when you're trying to get tenths of a second here or there, consistency is the key...and atleast in my hands the blue bullets from NCS offer me that. If the rounds are light and consistent and you've got the gun as heavy as it can be, and you've got it sprung so it returns without dipping, the rest is just training yourself.
