👍 … The importance of using guard rings and/or shielded/coax cables doing sensitive voltage measurements.

Impossible to endure that "speaking into a cookie tin at the back of a cavern" sound effect.

Your results do not surprise me at-all. Before you connect any oscilloscope leads there is only *ONE* secondary loop. After you connect oscilloscope (input A) there are *TWO* secondary loops (additionally comprising the loop formed by the black and red oscilloscope input A leads). After you connect oscilloscope (input B) there are *THREE* secondary loops (additionally comprising the loop formed by the black and red oscilloscope input B leads). So you have *THREE* secondary loops. Current would flow in the original loop, but an emf would be induced in the second and third loops and would be presented to oscilloscope inputs A and B. The oscilloscope is telling the truth. But your measuring system has become part of the phenomenon you are seeking to measure.

It is very interesting and impressive experiment to thnk about what is the induced electromotive force. For a time being I could not find the answer, althougt I have a long eperience of teaching and experiments in this field. For the pple who are not used to use electrical measurment, it may be difficult to find the answer for this experiment. Making the video answer for this experiment may be interesting. The title " Faraday Paradox" sometime used for another phenomenon, relating to a monopole dinamo.Thank you very much for you effort.

Yes i was baffled just as equally when that term was use here! JLNaudin website gives the account of the anomaly by the name 'Magnetic paradox'

Well done, but next time please use a close microphone to record your Audio ! Many thanks. Did you try the Rick Friedrich setup to have multiple output coils yet for more output than input ? Regards, Stefan.

Thanks! Yep. I just used an iPhone. Our labs were being redone and sound absorbers weren't hung in that room yet (still). Good suggestion!
