Interesting to see how this area has changed in the 22 years since this was filmed. The aerial shots at about 50 seconds in show that you could walk down from the lighthouse parking lot and walk for miles along the sand spit that extends to the south. I remember doing this back in the 80s. That sand spit has since been breached, and that breach has been eating away at the bluff on which the Monomoy National Wildlife Refuge facility sits. I was just there about a month ago, and they've since had to tear down the visitors center there and half of the parking lot has been removed. The bluff there is eroding away at a rapid pace.

Thanks, also, for the date further down: 1979. One of the last times I visited the museum at Highland Lighthouse, i was astounded at what I read about how the Native Americans were cheated out of the land, and how proud the new Americans were in cheating them...and in their own handwriting! I never learned that in any history class! What an eye full! Absolutely heartbreaking.

“Seems so different without the crowds… like the old days. I think I prefer it that way, even with the cold…” ~ Maggie to Joshua Turner I’ve loved this film since 1981. I’ve loved Cape Cod in the off-season for as long as I can remember. Tucked away, I found an old-fashioned picnic basket, the kind with checkered cloth napkins, china plates and wine glasses. 🧺🍽️🍷 (The kind that pairs well with a book of the writings of John Keats.) Once upon a time, I got it with dreams of a picnic by the seashore. It’s never been used. “I’m beginning to feel past tense.” ~ Maggie to Joshua Turner That sentiment is ringing more true with every passing day and season. ⌛️

I was one of the interpreters in the CIDG 550th company that attached to this MACV RECONDO school in Nha Trang, Vietnam. The 550th CIDG company pulled security around the perimeter of the school, acted as a reactionary/rescue force on alert when the students go on their field practice operation in areas considered to be VC-infested. In the late stage of the school (1971), it started to take in ARVN (Army of Republic of Viet Nam) officers/soldiers for training. I was the only interpreter selected to be an advisor-aid to help the ARVN students in the class. It has been one of the fun parts of my life!

Are you referring to the video, the audio soundscape, or both? I generally do charge for a license, as it's released as a music track/SE worldwide.. however if it's non-commercial if it's accompanied by a link here, yes. © Christopher Seufert

@@ChristopherSeufert17hi Christopher, thanks for answering! I would only use 20 minutes of the audio uf that works for you. I am not allowed to post links but I can name your channel. And yes it is commercial, but the amount I would make off it is likely very low, so I would prefer to pay you by giving you more exposure by naming your channel. Would that work for you?
